국문 초록

본 연구는 학교밖 청소년이 지각한 진로장벽이 진로성숙에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 인천, 광주, 전남지역 학교밖 청소년 지원센터를 다니고 있는 17세~24세의 학교밖 청소년 181명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 각 변수에 대해 기술통계분석, 상관관계 분석, 매개 회귀분석을 실시한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 진로장벽, 진로성숙, 회복탄력성의 차이를 살펴본 결과 성별에 따른 유의미한 차이는 발견되지 않았으나, 학교를 떠난 기간에 따라 진로장벽의 하위변인인 진로 및 직업정보의 부족에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교밖 청소년의 진로장벽의 모든 하위변인은 진로성숙의 모든 하위변인 및 회복탄력성의 모든 하위변인과 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로성숙의 모든 하위변인은 회복탄력성의 모든 하위변인과 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 학교밖 청소년의 회복탄력성은 진로장벽이 진로성숙에 미치는 영향에서 부분 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점 및 제한점 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study’s purpose is to examine the effects of the career barrier realized by out-of-school adolescents and to verify whether the resilience serves as a mediator between these two variables. To this end, 181 out-of-school subjects aged between 17 and 24 who attend out-of-school support centers in Incheon, Gwangju and Jeonnam provinces were analyzed. The research results from a technical statistical analysis, correlation analysis and a regression analysis for each variable utilized are as follows. First, no significant difference were found between career barrier, career maturity and resilience according to the demographic characteristics of the subjects. However, according to the duration of the time away from school, there appears to be a significant difference with regard to the lack of career and professional information. which is a sub-variable of the career barrier. Second, all sub-variables of the career barrier of youth outside of school appeared to have negative correlation with all sub-variables and resilience of career maturity, while all sub-variables of career maturity appeared to have positive correlation with all sub-variables of resilience. Third, the resilience of youth outside of school was found to serve as a partial parameter of the impact of a career barrier on career maturity. Based on these findings, the Implications of this study, limitations, and possible subsequent recommendation was discussed.
