언어네트워크 분석을 통한 유아 사교육 연구 동향 탐구: 우리나라 정부 및 누리과정 시행 시기를 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구에서는 유아 사교육 연구의 동향을 살펴보아 유아 사교육 현상을 다각도로 살펴보고자 사교육과 관련된 연구를 정부 시기와 누리과정을 처음 시행한 2012년을 기준으로 살펴보고자 한다. 연구방법: 2020년 1월을 기준으로 한국학술지인용색인에서 ‘유아+사교육’으로 검색하여 관련 연구물 65건을 수집하였다. 수집한 총 65건의 ‘유아 사교육’ 관련 연구물의 연구동향을 우리나라 정부 시기와 누리과정이 도입된 시기를 기준으로 구분하여 분류하였다. 최종 선정된 65편의 연구물에서 제시된 키워드는 총 242개이며, 2차 키워드 정제과정을 통해 최종 키워드를 추출하였다. 최종 키워드는 Excel프로그램과 Ucinet6프로그램을 이용하여 키워드 빈도 분석과 중심성 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 2005년 이후 유아 사교육 관련 연구에서는 사교육 비용, 교육 격차, 유아영어교육, 유아교육정책, 저출산과 같은 키워드가 등장하였으며, 중심성 분석을 통해 키워드가 복잡하게 얽혀있음을 알 수 있었다. 우리나라 정부 시기별 키워드 분석을 살펴보면, 사교육비용, 유아영어, 학원, 유아 영재 등의 단어가 이명박 정부, 박근혜 정부에 많이 등장하다가 문재인 정부를 거치면서 유아 사교육 연구는 점차 교육격차, 저출산, 교육서비스, 교육정책, 공교육위기, 유치원 의무화 등 점점 더 다양한 개념들이 관련되어 확장되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 누리과정 시행 시기인 2012년을 기준으로 유아 사교육 연구는 조기 사교육, 유아교육, 유아교육정책 키워드가 등장하였다. 2012년 이후에는 사교육비용, 교육격차, 교육서비스 등이 나타났다. 이를 통해 누리과정 이후 사교육 연구 주제가 확장되었음을 알 수 있다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구결과를 통해 유아 사교육 현상은 우리나라 사회 시스템과 문화 담론 속에 깊이 내재되어 연결된다. 따라서 보다 많은 유아 사교육의 의미와 현상에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 이러한 연구 결과들은 유아 사교육에 대한 분쟁의 문제를 넘어 공교육의 영역의 겉에서 이루어지는 교육이 가지는 속성에 대해 다시 한 번 심도 있는 논의가 필요함을 보여준다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the trend of early childhood tutoring research and to examine the current situation of early childhood tutoring. Method: As of January 2020, 65 related works were collected by searching for “infant + private education”. The research trend of the total 65 studies related to child private education was classified based on the period of the Korean government and the period when the Nuri process was introduced. The final keyword was extracted using keyword frequency analysis and centrality analysis using Excel program and Ucinet6 program. Results: Since 2005, in the research on early childhood education, keywords such as private education cost, education gap, early childhood English education, early childhood education policy, and low birth rate appeared. The Korean government s analysis of keywords by period showed that private education costs, early childhood English, academy, and gifted young children appeared in the first and second period. Third, as of 2012, when the Nuri process was introduced, early childhood education, and early childhood education policy keywords appeared. Since 2012, private education costs, educational gaps, and educational services emerged. Through this, it can be seen that the topic of private education research has been expanded since the nuri process. Conclusion: The early childhood private education phenomenon is deeply embedded in the social system and cultural discourse of Korea. Therefore, more research on the meaning and phenomena of early childhood tutoring is needed, and the results of this study lead to in-depth discussions about the nature of education that goes beyond the issue of early childhood tutoring.
