국문 초록

본 연구는 아버지의 행복감, 양육효능감, 아버지-자녀 상호작용 간의 상관관계를 알아보고, 아버지의 행복감이 아버지-자녀 상호작용에 미치는 영향에서 아버지 양육효능감의 매개효과를 살피는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2016년도에 진행된 육아정책연구소 한국아동패널(PSKC)의 9차년도 자료를 한국아동패널 홈페이지를 통해 제공받아 분석하였다. 자료의 분석은 SPSS.22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 주요변수들의 상관분석을 실시하였으며, 아버지의 행복감이 아버지-자녀 상호작용에 미치는 영향에서 양육효능감이 매개하는지를 알아보기 위하여 단순회귀 및 중다회귀분석을 실행하였다. 또한 매개효과 검증을 실시하였으며, 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 Sobel Z Test를 실시하였다. 연구의 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 아버지의 행복감, 양육효능감과 하위요인인 양육유능감, 아버지–자녀 상호작용은 서로 정적상관이 나타났으며, 양육불안감은 아버지의 행복감과 아버지-자녀상호작용에 부적상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 행복감과 양육유능감(양육효능감의 하위요인)은 아버지-자녀 상호작용에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것이 나타났으며, 양육 불안감(양육효능감의 하위요인)은 아버지-자녀 상호작용에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 양육유능감은 아버지의 행복감과 어버지-자녀 상호작용의 관계에서 완전매개효과를 나타냈으며, 양육불안감은 아버지의 행복감과 아버지-자녀 상호작용관계에서 부분매개효과를 나타냈다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the correlation between a father’s happiness, parenting efficacy, and the father-child interactions. Additionally, this study examined the mediating effects of the father’s parenting efficacy on the relationship between the father’s happiness and father-child interactions. The data in this study was collected and analyzed through the Korea Children s Panel (PSKC) of the Korea Institute of child-care and education over a 9-year period, which was conducted in 2016. For data analysis, the SPSS 22.0 program was used to examine the correlation of major variables, and simple regression and multiple regression analyses were conducted to determine whether parenting efficacy was mediated in the effect of the father s happiness on father-child interactions. The results of this study were as follows: first, there was a positive correlation between the father’s happiness, the father’s parenting efficacy, and father child-interactions, while parenting anxiety (a sub-factor of parenting efficacy) has a negative correlation between the father s happiness and father-child interactions. Second, the father s happiness and parenting competence (a sub-factor of parenting efficacy) had a positive effect on the interaction between father-child, whereas parenting anxiety was shown to have a negative effect on father-child interactions. Third, a father’s parenting competence showed a complete mediating effect in the relationship between the father s happiness and father-child interactions, while parenting anxiety showed only a partial mediating effect between the father s happiness and father-child interactions.
