초등미술교과서의 디자인사고 적용 사례 분석: 디자인 단원의 구성과 내용을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 2015개정 미술과 교육과정에 따른 5학년과 6학년 미술교과서(학년별 6종, 총12권)의 디자인 단원에 나타 난 ‘디자인사고(Design thinking)’의 적용 사례를 분석하고 창의성 향상과 문제해결능력 향상을 위한 교과집필의 새로운 방향성을 제언하는데 있다. 각 출판사별 미술교과서 분석을 통해 디자인사고의 과정(Design thinking process)은 점진적, 순환적, 부분 순환적 과정으로 제시방법이 각기 상이하였다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 이에 창의력 향상이라는 측면에서 학습자의 삶의 배경이 되는 문제를 통해 공감능력을 향상시키고, ‘인간중심의 삶’에 적용 가능한 문제인식지점에 대한 재고의 필요성이 있다. 또한 디자인 제작 과정에서 순환적 단계를 보다 명료하게 제시하여 자기 주도적 문제 해결 능력을 기를 수 있는 방향으로 교과내용을 개선해 나가야할 것을 제언하는 바이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application cases of design thinking in the design section of the fifth and sixth graders art textbooks (six classes by grade, a total of 12 volumes) according to the 2015 Revised Art Curriculum and to suggest a new direction in the writing of subjects to improve creativity and problem-solving skills. By analyzing each publisher s art textbook, I was able to draw a conclusion that the design thinking process was gradual, cyclical and partially cyclical processes, which resulted in different presentation methods. In this regard, there is a need to improve empathy through problems that serve as the background for learners lives in terms of improving creativity, and to rethink the point of problem recognition that can be applied to human-centered life. In addition, it is suggested that the curriculum should be improved in a direction that the students can strengthen the problem-solving ability in a logical and self-directed manner by clearly presenting the cyclical steps in the design production process.
