국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학생의 스마트폰 중독 위험성과 정신건강의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 대구지역 초등학교 고학년 732명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였고 분석을 위해 t-test, 위계적 회귀분석과 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 일반군과 위험군에 있어 회복탄력성과 정신건강 전체와 각 하위요인에 있어서 두 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 초등학생의 스마트폰 중독 위험성이 정신건강에 미치는 영향에서 회복탄력성이 매개변인으로 작용함을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 스마트폰 중독위험성에 노출되어 있는 아동의 정신건강을 향상시키기 위한 심리치료 중재 프로그램 개발과 활성화 방안을 모색하는데 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 중요한 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of resilience on the link between the risk of smart phone addiction and the mental health of elementary school students. Subjects consisted of 732 students in upper elementary grades in Daegu. Results of t-test, hierarchical regression analysis and sobel test are as follows: First, the statistical significance is shown between the both groups in the whole and each of the sub-factors of the mental health and the resilience. Second, it is found that the resilience acts as the mediating in the impact on the mental health of elementary school students’ smart phone addiction risks. The implication of this study is high by providing the data supporting for the development of psychotherapy interventions and the encouragement to practice such interventions for improving the mental health of children who are faced with the danger of smart phone addiction.
