공감수업에 대한 중등교사와 예비교사의 요구분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목표는 중등교사와 예비교사를 대상으로 ‘공감수업’의 구성 요소에 대한 ‘필요 수준’과 ‘실행 수준’을 조사하여 공감수업 구축을 위한 요구를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 중등교사 168명과 예비교사 244명을 대상으로 총 412명에게 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 요구분석을 위해 먼저, 대응표본 t검정을 통해 필요 수준과 실행 수준의 차이를 통계적으로 분석하였다. 둘째, Borich의 요구도 공식을 이용하여 우선순위를 산출하였다. 셋째, The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 요구도가 높은 항목들을 좌표평면에 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 이를 종합하여 최우선 순위 항목을 도출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 중등교사와 예비교사 모두 수업을 통한 교사와 학생의 인지, 정서의 통합적 성장과 공감적으로 경청하고 배려하며 말하는 것에 대한 요구가 높았다. 차이점으로는 중등교사는 수업에서 학생들이 긍정적인 정서를 경험하고 건강한 존재로 성장하는 공감 수업의 목표 부분에서 요구도가 높았고, 예비교사들은 실수를 존중하는 자유롭고 편한 분위기와 공감적 의사소통을 위한 수업 환경 부분에서 높은 요구도를 보였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs for establishing empathic instruction by investigating the current status and desirable one of components in empathic instruction for secondary school teachers and preliminary teachers. This study collected data through surveys that 168 secondary school teachers and 244 preliminary teachers, 412 in total responded to. For need analysis, following three research methodologies were employed. Firstly, a t-test was used to statistically detect the gap between two statuses. Secondly, priorities among the needs were calculated through Borich s needs assessment model. Thirdly, components with high demand were presented on the coordinate plane using The Locus for Focus model. Finally, the highest priority components were derived from these. The research results are as follows. First, both secondary school teachers and preliminary teachers had high demands in common: the integration of cognitive and emotional growth for teachers and students, and empathetic listening and being considerate when speaking. Next, secondary school teachers showed a high demand for the educational goal where students can experience positive emotions and grow up to be a great man whose mind and body are healthy, while preliminary teachers highly demanded for the free and comfortable atmosphere where students are respected when making mistakes, and the learning environment where students can have an empathic communication.
