국문 초록

이 글은 마음에 기반한 의미 연구의 흐름과 전망을 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 지시의미론에서는 실재하는 세계에 존재하는 대상을 의미라 간주한다. 만약 실재하는 세계에 지시대상이 존재하지 않는다면 지시의미론의 장점이 사라진다. 의미를 마음 속에 존재하는 개념으로 본다면 지시의미론의 문제를 해결할 수 있다. Ogden & Richards(1923)의 의미 삼각형에서 마음 속에 들어온 개념을 발견할 수 있다. 마음 속에서 언어의 작용을 구체적으로 설명한 것은 생성언어학의 공이었다. 뇌의 활동을 바탕으로 한 인지 작용은 언어의 의미 구성과 밀접하다. 뇌의 생리적인 활동을 확인할 수 있는 기술이 발달하여 뇌를 이루는 뉴런들이 계층구조를 이루고 있음을 알게 되었다. 그리고 계층구조는 개념의 구축과 구조화에 절대적으로 영향을 미친다. 인지의미론에서 연구되고 있는 주제를 계층구조의 측면에서 일관성이 있게 살펴보았다. 지난 인지의미론 연구는 언어적 상호작용에 그다지 관심이 없었다. 앞으로 인지의미론에서는 의사소통에 참여하는 화자와 청자의 관계적 사고에 초점을 두고 연구할 것을 전망해 본다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to look at the flow and prospect of semantic research based on the mind. The referential theory considers meaning as the object that exists in the real world. If there are no objects in the real world, the merits of the theory disappear. Seeing meaning as a concept that exists in the mind can solve the problem of referential semantics. In the triangle of meaning of Ogden & Richards (1923), we can find the concept that came into your mind. t was the work of generative linguistics that specifically explained the working of language in the mind. The cognitive function based on the activity of the brain is similar to the activity of the meaning of language. Advances in the technology to check the physiological activity of the brain have shown that the neurons that form the brain are stratified. And hierarchy has an absolute influence on the building and structure of concepts. The topics being studied in the cognitive semantics were examined consistently in terms of hierarchy. Past research in the cognitive semantics was not very interested in linguistic interactions. In the future, the cognitive semantics predicts that the research will focus on the relational thinking of the speaker and the listener involved in communication.
