국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 정신지체인을 위한 직업준비도 척도를 개발하는 데 두었다. 연구 대상은 개발 된 척도항목들을 적용하여 221명의 정신지체장애인을 평가한 84명이 직업재활 종사자들로 전국의 장애인종합복지관에 근무하는 이들은 모두 취업장애인 115명. 미취업장애인 106명이 평가되었다. 사용된 척도는 요인분석을 통해 설정되었는데, 모두 7개의 요인으로 분해할 수 있었다. 내용 타당도를 확립하기 위해 관련학과 교수와 전문가 4명에 의해 체계적으로 검토되었다. 이외에도 척도문항의 신뢰도 계수들은 모두 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 척도의 내적 일관성과 검사자 간 신뢰도는 모두 적정한 수준으로 사용된 척도점수에 대한 취업장애인과 미취업장애인 집단 간의 비교에서, 취업장애인의 점수가 모든 요인에서 미취업장애인보다 높아, 직업준비도 항목들의 예측력이 양호하게 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed to develop an employment readiness scale for persons with mental retardation. The sample of this study was composed of 221 persons with mental retardation at rehabilitation centers nationwide. 115 employed persons and 106 unemployed persons. The outcome of this study can be summarized as the following. All items extracted from 7 factors and turned out to be appropriate from the literature review. The internal consistency of all the scale items is high. resulting a Chronbach s alpha score of 9711. The reliability coefficients of each factor also ranged from .8334 to .9553. indicating that the internal consistency of this scale is appropriate. The inter-rater reliability is .857. and reliabilities for the each factor ranged from .672 to .868. Therefore. this scale showed that the internal consistency and several reliability index are moderate. The difference of the two groups. people who are employed and those not employed. has examined by several t-tests. A series of t-test carried on revealed that disabled workers who are employed showed higher scores in every factor than those who are not employed. Because disabled persons who are employed toward the preparation for jobs are much highly developed in terms of work readiness than those who are not employed. the results were supportive for the construct validity of this scale. Therefore. the result of this study revealed that the validity and reliability coefficients are as being appropriate.
