현장 실습이 특성화 고교생의 취업 진로 결정에 미치는 요인 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 특성화 고교의 현장 실습이 특성화 고교생의 취업에 관한 진로 결정에 미치는 요인을 구명하여 ‘특정 분야의 인재 양성’이라는 특성화 고교의 목적에 부합하는 효율적인 현장 실습의 계획과 운영에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적에 따라 특성화 고교생의 취업 진로 결정에 영향을 미치는 현장실습 요인을 관련 문헌의 이론적 검토를 통해 추출하였고 취업자 개별 면담과 전문가 집단 검증을 통해 수정?보완하였으며, 이를 기초로 설문 조사지를 개발하였다. 모집단은 전국의 공업계 특성화 고교 졸업자 중에서 현장 실습을 통해 취업하여 조사 시점까지 현장 실습 산업체에서 근무 중인 취업자이다. 이러한 기준에 따라 전국의 공업계 특성화 고교로부터 추천받은 301명의 취업자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 240부(79.7%)의 설문 조사지를 분석하였다. 현장실습 요인을 구명하기 위해 요인 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다 특성화 고교생의 취업 진로 결정에 영향을 미치는 현장 실습 요인은 ‘개인특성과 직무와의 부합 요인’, ‘산업체 근무 환경 요인’, ‘산업체 구성원 간 관계에서의 긍정적 강화 요인’, ‘산업체가 제공하는 직무 능력 향상 기회 요인’, ‘산업체 취업에 관한 교원의 지도 요인’으로 총 5개의 요인이 구성되었고 이들 요인은 총 25개의 하위 요인으로 구성된다. 따라서 현장 실습이 ‘특정 분야의 인재 양성’이라는 특성화 고교의 목적에 부합하기 위해서는 현장 실습의 계획과 운영에 현장 실습 요인이 고려될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study has the purpose to know on-the-job training (OJT) factors influence specialized high school students’ deciding on a career for employment (DCE) in order to provide the basic necessary data to improve the planning and operations in an effective OJT corresponding with the purpose of specialized high school. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 25 OJT factors which are expected to influence students’ DCE were extracted by a literature review, an individual interview with the employees, and a verification by experts. On the basis of this, a questionnaire was developed. The population is the nation’s specialized technical high school graduates who were employed through the OJT and they are then working in industrial institutions including the OJT. The survey was for 301 employees who have been recommended by the nation’s specialized technical high schools and 240 of the questionnaires that were analyzed by factor analysis. The major result of this study is as following. The OJT factors which influence students’ DCE are 5 factors and consist of 25 sub-factors. The OJT factors are ‘the correspondence of individual characteristics and job’, ‘the working environments of industrial institutions’, ‘the positive strengthening from relationship among employees in industrialinstitutions’, ‘the opportunity provided from industrial institutions to improve job competence’, ‘the teacher’s guidance about employment in industrial institutions’. Therefore, the OJT should be planned and operate considering the OJT factors in order to correspond with the purpose of specialized high school - cultivating talent in specific areas.
