모빌리티에 기초한 영아의 숲길 걷기 : 어린이집 만2세반을 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 모빌리티에 기초하여 만2세반 영아의 숲길 걷기를 통해 숲이라는 공간, 영아, 걷기에 대한 새로운 의미를 생성하고, 나아가 영아를 위한 움직임 교육의 방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 참여관찰 방법을 사용하였으며, Seamon의 일상적 경험요소인 머무름, 마주침, 움직임을 주요 분석 틀로 삼았다. 연구결과: 첫째, 숲의 공간적 의미로는 바이오필리아 공간, 배움터, 토포필리아 공간으로 도출되었다. 둘째, 영아의 존재론적 의미로는 관계를 만드는 영아, 관계의 질을 다지는 영아로 드러났다. 셋째, 걷기의 교육적 의미로는 감각과 감성을 깨우는 움직임, 삶의 주체로 나아가는 움직임, 모빌리티의 실천으로서 걷기로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 연구는 “생태적 모빌리티”라는 새로운 개념을 생성하였다. 결론: 본 연구에서 만2세반 영아에게 숲길을 걷는 것은 교육적 가치가 큰 것으로 밝혀졌다. 우선, 숲의 지속성을 위해 숲의 생명과 사람들의 공존과 공생을 성찰하여야 하고 숲의 공간적 가치를 실내 공간에 적용해 볼 것을 제안한다. 다음으로 영아를 “젖먹이 아이”로 보았던 것에서 벗어나 “생명력과 당당한 몸놀림으로 세상을 배워나가는 어린 아이”로 보아야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 영유아교육현장에서 감각과 감성교육, 걷기를 포함한 움직임 교육이 적극적으로 반영되기를 기대하는 바이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to create a new meaning for the space, the infant, and the walking through the forest walk of 2-year-old infants based on mobility, and to present the direction of movement education for infants. Method: We used participatory observation methods and used Seamon s daily experience elements(rest, encounter, and movement) as the main analytical framework. Results: The forest had a spatial meaning to the children in the biophilia space, the learning space, and the topophilia space. Infants were learning to build relationships and improve the quality of relationships by walking through the forest. Walking has an educational value as a movement to awaken sense and emotion, a movement toward the subject of life, and a practice of mobility. Through these results, this study created the new concept of “ecological mobility”, Conclusion: In this study, it was found that walking the forest to the 2-year-old infants has a great educational value. We need to newly recognize the space of forest as a place of education. We also need to look at the infant as a child who learns the world through vitality and dignified mobility rather than as a weak entity. Finally, We expect to actively reflect on the movement education that can take care of children s senses and emotions together in infant education field.
