대학원 ‘학습공동체’ 경험 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 대학원 학생들이 학습공동체에서 어떠한 경험을 했는지 탐색하였다. 대학원 학습공동체는 2018년 7월 13일부터 2019년 2월 25일까지 총 30회의 학습모임을 가졌다. 대학원생과 지도교수로 구성된 7인은 선정한 주제에 따라 발표와 질의를 통해 학습한 내용을 자유롭게 공유해갔다. 연구자들은 학습모임에서 발표문서와 질문목록, 토론내용과 면담내용을 녹음한 후 전사하였고, 수집한 자료는 범주화하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 대학원 학습공동체 구성원들은 학습을 ‘실천’하며 배움에 대해 알게 되었다. 놀이중심 교육과정에 대한 탐구를 통해 학습의 ‘즐거움’을 경험하였고, 학습에는 지속적인 ‘노력’이 필요하다는 것을 체험하였다. 본 연구에서는 대학원 학습공동체와 같이 다른 전문가 집단에서도 실천 가능한 모델로서의 새로운 학습공동체 문화가 더욱 확산되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study explores the experiences of graduate students in a learning community. The graduate learning community had a total of 30 learning sessions from July 13 to February 25, 2019. Seven members including graduate students and an advisor shared their ideas freely and asked questions according to selected topics. The documents, question lists, discussions and interviews that were presented in the study group were recorded and transcribed. The collected data were categorized and analyzed. The findings of the study were as follows. First, the members of the learning community learned what ‘learning’ really means as they practiced what they learned. Second, they had experienced the ‘pleasure’ of learning through exploring play-centered curriculum, and they became aware of that continuous learning is essential. Thus study implies that the graduate learning community can be a good model for new professional learning communities.
