국문 초록

조현병은 현실을 왜곡하는 부적응 증상이 특징이며 조현병 치료의 핵심 목표는 증상 완화 및 사회에 복귀하는 것이다. 따라 서 본 연구의 목적은 조현병 환자가 사회성 향상을 위한 집단미술치료에서 어떠한 경험을 하며, 그 경험의 의미는 무엇인가 를 살펴보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 조현병 환자의 사회성 향상을 위한 집단미술치료 사례를 선정하고 사례 연구 방법을 적용하 여 탐구하였다. 연구 참여자는 조현병을 진단 받은 성인 남성 1명과 성인 여성 5명이고, 집단미술치료 사례는 2018년 8월 9일부터 2018년 10월 4일까지 주 2회 60분간 총 13회기로 진행되었다. 본 연구의 결론은 첫째, 연구 참여자들에게 집단미 술치료 경험은 고립되어있던 자신의 정서 및 생각을 탐색하고 표현을 시도했다는 의미를 가진다. 둘째, 연구 참여자들은 집단미술치료 경험을 바탕으로 단절되었던 타인과의 상호작용을 시작하며, 일상에서도 적극적인 대인관계적 소통을 하였다. 셋째, 집단미술치료에서의 긍정적인 사회적 상호작용 경험은 참여자들에게 조현병 증상의 완화와 더불어 일상으로의 복귀에 대한 희망을 갖게 하였다.

영문 초록

Schizophrenia is characterized by maladaptive symptoms that distort reality, and the core goal of ambulatory treatment is to relieve symptoms and return to society. The purpose of this study is to examine the experience that schizophrenic patient in group art therapy for sociality improvement and the meaning of such experiences. For this purpose, a case of group art therapy for sociality improvement of schizophrenic patients was selected and applied qualitative case study method. Group art therapy conducts in 13 sessions, twice a week for 60 minutes from August 09, 2018 to October 04, 2018, and participants was consisted of 1 male man and 5 women diagnosed with schizophrenia. The conclusions of this case study are First, the group art therapy experience for research participants means that they tried to express their emotions and thoughts that were isolated. Second, the research participants started to interact with others who had been cut off based on the experience of group art therapy, and they actively interacted in daily life as well. Third, positive social interaction experience in group art therapy gave hope to the participant in relieving symptoms of sudden illness and returning to daily life.
