병영생활전문상담관의 직무스트레스에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 병영생활전문상담관이 겪는 직무스트레스 경험의 내용과 구조를 파악하여 향후 직무스트레스를 효율적으로 관리하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구는 경험의 내용을 이해하기 위해 질적 연구방법 중 현상학적 연구방법을 활용하였다. 본 연구를 위해 병영생활전문상담관 10명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 심층 면담하였고 수집된 자료는 Giorgi (1985)가 제시한 4단계 절차를 토대로 분석하였다. 연구결과 최종적으로 40개의 의미단위, 15개의 하위구성요소, 6개의 구성요소로 도출되었다. 도출된 구성요소는 ‘물리적 환경에서 오는 스트레스’, ‘상담인력 부족 및 과다한 업무’, ‘상담 및 상담관에 대한 인식 부족’, ‘복지와 처우제도의 부족’, ‘동료 간의 갈등’, ‘직무스트레스 대처방식’으로 드러났다. 본 연구에서 규명된 직무스트레스 경험의 내용과 본질은 병영생활전문상담관의 직무스트레스 중재를 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다. 또한, 기존 거의 이루어지지 않은 병영생활전문상담관을 대상으로 한 현상학적 연구로써 차후 질적 연구에도 도움이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the content and structure of job stress experience experienced by barracks professional counselors. Understanding the meaning and essence of the job stress experience of the barracks professional counselor who is in charge of counseling the soldier is a necessary study not only to help the counselor but also to provide good quality counseling service to military soldiers. This study used phenomenological research methods among the qualitative research methods to understand the contents of experience. For this study, we interviewed 10 barracks professional counselors. The collected data were analyzed based on the 5-step procedure presented by Giorgi (1975, 2012). As a result of the research, finally, 40 semantic units, 15 subcomponents, and 6 components were derived. The derived component is ‘stress from work environment’. ‘Lack of counselors and excessive workloads’, ‘lack of awareness of counseling and counselors’, ‘stress of welfare and treatment system’, and ‘peer stress’. This study is expected to be a useful data for counseling service intervention for barracks professional counselors by analyzing the process and related variables of job stress experience of barrack counselors.
