유아교육기관 평가에 관한 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관 평가 관련 논문의 연구동향을 분석하여 유아교육기관 평가에 관한 전반적인 연구경향 검토 및 연구 방향성을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2007년-2017년까지의 유아교육기관평가 관련 학위논문 및 학술지 총 302편의 시기와 주제, 연구방법별 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 2007년부터 2009년까지 평가 관련 연구가 활발히 이루어졌으나, 2010년 이후부터 점차적으로 감소추세를 나타냈다. 둘째, 주제별 분석에서는 ‘기관평가에 대한 인식’이 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였고, ‘기관평가 사후관리’ 관련 연구가 가장 적게 나타났다. 셋째, 유아교육기관 관련 연구는 혼합대상 보다는 단일대상 연구가 많이 이루어졌으며, 유치원에 비해 어린이집 대상 연구가 높은 비율을 보였다. 연구유형에서는 양적연구 중 조사연구가 가장 많았고, 자료수집방법에서는 질문지법을 사용한 논문이 가장 큰 비율을 보였다. 질적연구는 면담법을 사용한 소수 연구가 이루어졌고, 문헌연구 및 양적·질적 혼합연구방법 또한 매우 낮게 나타났다. 끝으로, 자료 분석 방법은 양적분석, 질적분석, 문헌분석, 양적·질적 혼합분석 순의 경향을 보였다. 본 연구결과는 후속연구들에서 좀 더 포괄적이고 다양한 각도에서의 유아교육기관 평가연구의 동향분석이 이루어질 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the general research tendency about the assessment of early childhood educational institutes and to present research directivity through the analysis of the theses related to the assessment of domestic early childhood educational institutes. To this end, this study implemented the analysis of a total of 302 theses and academic journals related to the assessment of early childhood educational institutes from 2007 until 2017 by period, subject, and research method. As a result, first, it was found that the research related to assessment was actively conducted from 2007 until 2009, but after 2010, it showed a gradual decrease trend. Second, ‘Perception of Institutional Assessment’ was found to have the highest proportion in the analysis by research subject, while the research related to ‘Follow-up Management of Institutional Assessment’ was found to be the least. Third, in the research related to early childhood educational institutes, the single subject research was found to be done more than the mixed subject research, and the day care center subject research was found to show a lot higher percentage in comparison with a kindergarten. In the research type, the survey research among the quantitative researches was found to be the most, and accordingly, even in the method of collecting data, the thesis using a questionnaire method showed the biggest percentage. In the qualitative research, interview method was found to be done for a small amount of researches, and literature research, and mixed researches with quantitative and qualitative methods were also found to be very low. Finally, The data analysis method was found to show the tendency in the order of quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, and literature analysis, and quantitative & qualitative mixture analysis. Accordingly, this study result implies that there is the necessity of having to apply more diverse subjects and research methods to early childhood educational institutes.
