국문 초록

본 연구는 창의적 신체표현활동이 유아의 또래 유능성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 수행하였다. 연구대상은 중국 길림성 Y시 S사립 유치원에 재원중인 만5세 유아 32명으로, 실험집단 17명, 통제집단 15명이다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의적 신체표현활동을 경험한 실험집단과 일반적인 신체활동을 실시한 통제집단의 또래 유능성에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 또래 유능성 검사의 하위영역별로 살펴보면 실험집단과 통제집단의 주도성과 친사회성에는 유의한 차이를 보였지만, 사교성에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 이는 창의적 신체표현활동이 유아의 또래 유능성에 영향을 준 것이라고 판단되며 하위요인 중 주도성과 친사회성에는 영향을 주지만, 사교성에는 영향을 주지 못하는 것으로 해석할 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the effects of the creative physical expression activity on children s peer competence. The subjects were 35 five-year-old children(experimental group 17 and control group 15) attending one private kindergarten in Y city of China. The results of this study were as followings. First, there was a statistically significant difference in children s peer competence between the experimental group participating in the creative physical expression activity and the comparative group participating in the general physical activity(p<.05). Second, there were statistically significant differences in children s leadership and the pro-social behaviors between the experimental group and the comparative group(p<.05), but there was no significant difference in children s sociability(p>.05). This demonstrates that the creative physical expression activity influenced children s leadership and the pro-social behaviors, but did not influence their sociability
