국문 초록

본 연구에서는 학습장애 위험이 있는 유아(幼兒)의 조기진단 및 중재 방안을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 일반 유치원의 유아(幼兒)와 초·중학교의 기초학습부진학생의 읽기 유창성 검사 점수를 비교하였으며 미국에서 학습장애 위험이 있는 유아(幼兒)의 조기진단 및 중재 방안인 Recognition & Response System과 유치원에서의 효과적인 읽기 교수 방법에 대해 조사하였다. 연구 결과, BASA 읽기 검사를 통한 읽기 유창성 능력은 학습장애 위험이 있는 유아(幼兒)를 구별할 수 있는 지표가 될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 미국의 Recognition & Response System은 학습장애 위험이 있는 유아(幼兒)의 조기진단 및 중재방안으로 중재반응모형을 적용하고 있었으며 효과적인 읽기 교수 방법으로는 직접교수 등이 적용되고 있었다. 따라서 국내의 일반 유치원에서 학습장애 위험이 있는 유아(幼兒)의 조기진단 및 중재를 위해서는 BASA 검사를 통한 교육과정중심측정과 직접교수와 같은 증거-기반의 효과적인 읽기 중재 방법을 적용한 중재반응모형을 적용할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, I researched and described an early intervening system for young children at risk for learning disabilities with response to intervention. For these, first I gathered young children BASA(Basic Academic Skills Assessment ; Reading) reading data in kindergartens and under achievement students BASA reading data in elementary schools and in middle schools. And then, I compared young children BASA reading data with under achievement students BASA reading data in elementary schools and middle schools to know whether reading fluency ability can separate young children at risk for learning disabilities from other children. Also, I reviewed and analyzed Recognition & Response System for young children at risk for learning disabilities and effective interventions which is for young children in kindergarten. As a results, I founded that reading fluency abilities can be separated young children at risk for learning disabilities from children. And in the United States, Recognition & Response System was used for early intervening system for young children at risk for learning disabilities. Also, Direct Instruction reading programs and others was used for at risk children at kindergartens in the United States. Therefore, we need to apply Response to Instruction and research-based reading programs to early intervening system for young children at risk for learning disabilities in Korea.
