국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 기독 중년여성을 중심으로 자기용서와 분노반추 관계에서 하나님 이미지의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구를 진행하기 위해 국내에 거주하고 있는 40세에서 60세 기독교 중년여성을 대상으로 서베이 몽키(Survey Monkey)의 온라인 설문과 오프라인 설문을 통하여 총 211명의 자료를 연구의 대상으로 삼았다. 설문조사에 있어서 각 변인들을 파악하기 위하여 하나님 이미지척도, 자기용서척도, 분노반추척도를 사용하였으며 수집된 자료는 상관관계분석과 중다회귀분석을 실시하여 결과를 산출하였다. 본 연구는 자기용서와 분노반추 관계에서 유의미한 관계를 확인하고 두 변인의 관계에서 하나님 이미지가 매개효과를 가지는지를 알아보기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 자기용서와 분노반추 관계에서 하나님 이미지의 부분 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이는 기독 중년여성의 자기용서가 분노반추에 영향을 미치기도 하지만 하나님 이미지를 통해서도 분노반추에 영향을 미치는 것을 의미한다. 분노반추를 완화하는데 하나님 이미지가 보호요인이라는 것을 시사하는 것이다. 따라서 목회 현장과 상담 장면에서 기독 중년여성의 하나님 이미지를 개선할 수 있는 개입이 분노반추를 다루는 데 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the mediating effects of the image of God in relation to self-forgiveness and anger rumination in middle-aged Christian women. In order to carry out this research, a survey was conducted on middle-aged Christian women in their 40s through 60s residing in South Korea using the professional online survey site, “Survey Monkey,” as well as offline surveys. Data from a total of 211 individuals were collected in both ways. The survey utilized the God Image Assessment (GIA), the Korean version of the State Self-Forgiveness Scale (SSFS-K), and the Anger Rumination Scale (ARS) in order to examine each of the factors. The collected data were analyzed, and results were computed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. This study shows that meaningful relationships exist between self-forgiveness and anger rumination. To examine whether the image of God has mediating effects in the relationship between the two factors, regression analysis was implemented. The results indicate that the image of God had partial mediating effects in relation to self-forgiveness and anger rumination. This implies that not only does self-forgiveness in middle-aged Christian women have an influence on anger rumination, but one’s image of God also exerts an influence on anger rumination. Moreover, one’s image of God is considered to be a protective factor in alleviating anger rumination. Accordingly, an intervention to improve individuals’ image of God in a pastoral or counselling setting is recommended to help dealing with anger rumination.
