전통회화의 수기적(修己的) 창작태도를 기초로 한 인성 교육 활용 방안에 관한 연구: 공자의 수기론(修己論)을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 전통회화에 나타난 수기적 창작태도의 개념을 고찰하고 인성교육적 활용을 수 업방안으로 제시하여 결과물을 분석하고자 한다. 유교에 나타난 수기적 개념을 고찰하기 위 해 공자가 제시한 ‘흥(興)’, ‘관(觀)’, ‘군(群)’, ‘원(怨)’의 개념에 주목하였다. 이러한 유교를 바 탕으로 한 조선시대 회화의 수기적 창작론에서는 그림을 통해 도(道)를 추구하고 이(理)를 체 득, 실현하는 것을 궁극목표로 여기는 태도를 찾아볼 수 있는데, 그림에 있어서도 같은 창작 태도가 적용되었다. 이러한 창작태도는 사군자나 산수화 등 전통회화에서 구체적으로 나타난 다. 이러한 창작태도를 인성교육으로 활용하기 위한 방법론을 ‘흥’, ‘관’, ‘군’, ‘원’의 개념에 착 안하여 미술 교육적, 인성 교육적으로 재해석하고 이에 따른 구체적인 수업을 제안한다. ‘흥’ 과 관련하여 ‘감성 유발’을, ‘관’과 관련하여 ‘자기 성찰’을, ‘군’과 관련하여 ‘소통’을 ‘원’과 관 련하여 ‘은유적 의견표현’을 연관하여 제시하였다. 수업을 통해 얻어진 결과물을 통해 학생들 의 인성 교육적 효과를 구체적으로 살펴본다. 본 연구를 통해 전통미술의 창작 태도에 집중 하여 인성교육을 위한 심미적, 감성적 접근 방안을 마련하고자 한다. 또한 전통미술에 대한 인식의 전환을 모색하는 것과 동시에 인성교육을 위한 구체적이고 통합적인 콘텐츠 개발의 기반을 마련한다는 점에서 답보 상태에 머물 수 있는 두 교육의 개념에 새로운 활력을 제공 할 수 있다. 이러한 연구를 통해 전통문화에 뿌리를 둔 전인적 교육의 방안으로서, 문화적 정 체성 형성을 통한 심층적인 미술교육과 인성교육의 방향을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study is focused on the concept of self-observational attitudes and proposes the effective implication of an education for the development of character. A specific lecture plan is proposed to later analyze the results from the class. In order to review the self-observational attitude, the concept of ‘Heung(興)’, ‘Gwuan(觀)’, ‘Geun(群)’, and ‘Won(怨)’. are contemplated. In the Josun period, artists aimed to reach Tao(道). This attitude can also be found in creating traditional paintings. To utlilize this behavior, the education of art and character is found in the concept of ‘Heung(興)’ relates to the preference of emotional value, ‘Gwuan(觀)’ relates to self reflection, ‘Geun(群)’ connects with communication, and ‘Won(怨)’ relates to self expression. With this theoretical foundation, a course will be carried out in order to analyze the effects of the personality education from the results. This study suggest the practical and detailed plan for lesson of traditional art education. The education of traditional paintings should be taught based on its true meaning and value so as to help students discover cultural identity and esteem through their own personal experiences with traditional art. This study has value in bringing a new recognition of traditional art and creating a creative educational plan for traditional education and personality education. This study aims to overcome the limited ways of teaching traditional art in school, and to search the possibility of teaching traditional creation attitude based on the in-depth understanding of the philosophy and aesthetics of Korean art.
