미술치료가 아토피피부염 환아의 불안과 소양감 및 병변의 중증도에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료가 아토피피부염 환아의 불안과 소양감 및 병변의 중증도에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 S 의료원 피부과에 내원하는 아토피피부염을 진단받은 8-13세 아동 8명을 대상으 로 2015년 2-4월 주1회 10회기의 개인 미술치료를 피부과 치료와 병행 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 도구로는 아동발현불안 척도, 시각소양감등급 척도, 스코라드 지수 평가를 사용하였다. 모든 검사도구는 미술치 료 전？후에 측정하였고, 소양감은 그 추이 분석을 위해 미술치료 실시 중에 3회 추가로 실시하였다. 통계분석 은 미술치료가 환아의 불안, 병변의 중증도에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 도출된 결과의 평균 점수 산출 후 집단별로 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검증을, 소양감에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 반복측정 분산분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 미술치료는 아토피피부염 환아의 불안 완화에 효과적이었으며 통계적으로 유의미한 차 이가 있었다. 둘째, 미술치료는 환아의 소양감 완화에 효과적이었으며 통계적으로도 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 환아의 피부 병변의 중증도 개선에도 효과적이었으며 통계적으로도 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 소아 아토피피부염 치료에 있어 미술치료를 통한 심리중재는 환아의 심리적？신체적 고통 완화뿐 만 아니라 병변의 중증도 개선에도 긍정적인 효과를 미친다는 것으로 결론지을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study examines the effects of art therapy on anxiety, pruritus, and the severity of lesions suffered by children with atopic dermatitis(AD). The subjects of this study comprised eight children between the ages of 7 and 12 with AD at the S Medical Center in Seoul. Art therapy was conducted 10 times along with the routine dermatology medication, once a week from February to April 2015. We used 'RCMAS' scale, uredo VAS scale, and SCORAD index evaluation to measure anxiety and progress of urticarial before and after art therapy, and at additional three points during the period of art therapy. SPSS 20.0 was used for statistical analysis. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to examine anxiety of severity of lesions, and repeated measure analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to measure subjects' urticarial. The results of this study are as follows: First, art therapy helped alleviate the anxiety and the statistically significant outcomes prove its efficacy. Second, art therapy was statistically effective in alleviating the severity of urticarial and imporved the severity of lesions. Therefore, the intervention of art therapy is effective for the children with AD in reducing the level of psychological disorders, physical distress, and severity of lesions.
