학교미술치료의 현황과 발전방향

국문 초록

본 연구는 학교미술치료의 본질을 명확히 하고 미술치료사의 역할을 재조명하여 앞으로의 발전방향을 모색 해 보는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 구현하기 위하여 문헌 연구를 통하여 학교미술치료의 필요성, 학교미술 치료의 역할과 연구동향, 발전방향에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교미술치료는 학교라는 공간의 특수성이 있기 때문에 일반 치료기관에서 하는 중재와 구분되어야 하며, 전문 가의 배양이 필요하다. 둘째, 학교미술치료사는 학생의 문제와 학교상황을 맥락적 관점에서 바라보고 문제의 특성에 초점을 맞추어 문제를 해결하는 전문적인 역할을 수행해야 한다. 셋째, 학교미술치료 연구는 아동, 청소 년의 심리적 안녕에 도움을 주어 학교생활을 원활하게 하여 자신의 생활에 대한 책임감을 향상시키는 데에 효 과적이다. 넷째, 학교미술치료의 발전을 위해서는 학교미술치료에 대한 인식개선 및 연구 확대의 필요성, 수퍼 비젼의 의무화 등을 통한 미술치료사의 전문성 역량강화, 미술치료사 인력배치 확대 및 정규직 채용을 위한 법 제화 노력이 시급하다. 앞으로 후속연구를 통하여 학교라는 공간에서 이루어진 미술치료 연구 동향과 메타분석 연구를 기대하며, 현재 혼용되고 있는 용어를 학교미술치료라는 용어로 일치해 나가야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to clearly defines the essence of school art therapy and reviews the role of therapists in order to examine the direction of future research. For this purpose, this study identifies the necessity, role and trend, and future direction of school art therapy through conducting a literature review. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, school art therapy needs to be distinguished from the mediation of general care centers because of the special characteristics of schools, and professionals need to further developed. Second, school art therapists should link student problems and circumstances of the school in the contextual view and perform professional roles, focusing on the nature of the problem in order to solve it. Third, the research shows that school art therapy is highly effective in improving the responsibility of a daily life by maintaining psychological stability and subsequently making school life more amicable. Fourth, the improvement of school art therapists' specialties, an increase in the number of X, and the creation of the full-time art therapist positions should be required through recognition improvement, expanded researches, and compulsory supervision program to improve the field of school art therapy. Lastly, more trend research and meta-analysis for art school therapy is needed, as is unification of undiscerning mixed terms with those of school art therapy.
