집단미술치료교육 프로그램이 유아의 인지와 정서에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아를 대상으로 집단미술치료교육 프로그램이 유아의 인지와 정서에 미치는 효과를 검증 함으로써 교육현장에 활용할 수 있는 근거를 마련하는데 있다. 연구대상은 G시 아기 스포츠단에 소속하는 유 아 24명으로, 집단미술치료교육집단(8명), 집단미술교육집단(8명), 통제집단(8명)이며, 2013년 3월 6일부터 2013년 6월 26일까지 주1회 총 12회기로 한 회기당 90분씩 진행하였다. 연구도구는 Silver(1996)의 SDT검사와 YeunHwa Choi(2012)의 정서이해검사(8문항)이다. 자료분석은 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 사용하여 One-way ANOVA와 two-way ANOVA를 실시하였으며, 집단과 검사시기별 효과를 비교하기 위해 Duncan-test를 실시하 였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어진 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단미술치료교육은 유아의 인지에 긍정적인 효 과가 있었으며, 집단미술치료교육을 받은 유아들이 집단미술교육을 받은 유아들보다 예측배열능력, 공간지각능 력, 선택결합표현능력에서 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 둘째, 집단미술치료교육은 유아의 정서에 긍정적인 효과가 있 었으며, 집단미술치료교육을 받은 유아들이 집단미술교육을 받은 유아들보다 정서에서 높은 점수를 나타냈다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the effects of an educational group art therapy program on the cognition and emotion of young children to see if this art therapy program could be used at educational institutions. The study participants were 24 young children affiliated with a city sport team in an urban setting. They were divided into an experimental group of 8, a comparison group of 8, and a control group of 8. The educational group art therapy program ran for 12 sessions from March 6 to June 26, 2013. The sessions met once a week and each session lasted ninety minutes. The instruments included Silver'(1996)s SDT and Choi'(2012)s emotion understanding scale (8 items). Data analysis was performed using SPSS 19.0 program. A one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA and Duncan's test was used to compare the effects between the group and test period. The study findings are as follows. First, the educational group art therapy program made positive effects on the cognition of the participants. The participants who received the therapy program gained higher scores in the predictive arrangement ability, spatial perception ability, and choice combination expression ability. Second, the educational group art therapy program made positive effects on the emotion of the participants. The participants who received the program gained higher scores in emotion than the participants who received group art therapy.
