치매고위험군의 인지기능, 우울 및 행동변화를 위한 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 치매고위험군을 대상으로 미술치료 프로그램을 실시하여 인지기능, 우울 및 행동변화에 긍정적인 효과가 있는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상자 선정과정은 다음과 같은 과정을 걸쳐 선정하였다. 먼저, 1차도구로 MMSE -KC 척도를 이용하여 선별한 후, 2차 정밀진단도구인 CERAD-K를 사용하여 검사하였으며 검사 후 인지기능저하를 보인 대상자를 선별, 전문의료진에게 치매고위험군으로 진단을 받은 대상자를 중심으 로 미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 프로그램은 2010년 1월 12일부터 5월 18일까지 실시하였으며, 주 1회 90분 수업으로 총 19회기로 진행되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술치료 프로그램이 치매고위험군의 인지기능에 유의미한 효과는 없었으나, 소폭이나마 인지기능점수는 향상되었다. 둘째, 미술치료 프로그램이 치 매고위험군의 우울에 유의미한 변화가 있었다. 셋째, 미술치료 프로그램이 치매고위험군의 행동변화에 유의미한 변화가 있었다. 위의 결과를 토대로 미술치료 프로그램이 치매고위험군의 인지기능, 우울 및 행동변화를 향상 시키는데 긍정적인 도움을 줄 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study is verified positive effects for higher risk dementia by conducting art therapy program in cognitive function, depression, and behavioral changes. The selection criteria are as follows. First, MMSE-KC as the primary screening tool for cognitive decline using a screening measure, lower scores in cognitive function assessment. CERAD-K as the second precison diagnostic tool is used to examine the cognitive function. And the art therapy program was conducted for subjects who higher risk dementia were diagnosed by medical professionals. This program once a week for 90 minutes was carried out in a total of 19 sessions from January 12 to May 18 in 2010. The results are as follows. First, the art therapy program had not meaningful effects on cognitive function of higher risk dementia. Second, the art therapy program had meaningful effects on depression function of higher risk dementia. Third, the art therapy program had meaningful effects on behavior change of higher risk dementia. Art therapy program on the basis of the above results could help improve cognitive function, depression, and positvie behavior change of higher risk dementia.
