등교거부 아동의 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

아동의 등교거부는 단순한 하나의 사건이라기보다 아동의 성격, 가정 및 학교에서의 대인관계, 사회구조 등 여러가지 요인에 의해 나타나는 복잡한 현상이다. 등교거부라고 하는 것은 학교에 가야한다는 것을 충분히 의식하여 등교하려고 하지만 그것이 불가능한 상태를 말하며, 비행, 태만, 가정형편, 심신장에 등으로 인산 결석과는 다르다. 어떤 이유로든 학교에 등교하지 않는 아동을 지칭하는 용어에는 무단 결석(Truancy), 학교공포증(School Phobia), 등교거부(School refllsaI)라는용어가 많 이 사용되고 있다. Broadwin (1932)은 게을러서 학교에 가지 않는 아동 즉, 무단 결석에 대한 연구에서 계속해서 학교에 가지 않는 아동들 중에는 신경증적인 경향이 있다고 보고했고, Partridge(1939)도 무단 결석하는 아동 500명을 대상으로 연구한 결과, Broadwin의 보고 내용과 같은 신경증적인 장애아동이 상당수 있다는 것을 보고하였다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to eliminate symptoms of school refusal and perform daily life autonomously by art therapy program. There were 12 sessions and each session lasted approximately 50 minutes. The child was female, 6-years old who was first grade in elementary school and had one elder brother. Her mother was also invited in art therapy. The results of this study were as follow First, The child’s symptoms of school refusal was disappeared after 10 sessions. She went to school without mother's help and entered to the classroom by herself. Second, she went to bed by herself and then autonomously attempted to cope with problems that she had to solve in daily life. Third, she got acquainted with friends science she began to eat lunch for schoolchildren and established good relationships with teacher after 8 sessions. Consequently, it was found that the art therapy program was effective in this subject
