무문토기시대 한일간 지역관계변천

국문 초록

종래 한반도와 서일본의 지역 관계는 시간적으로 야요이시대 이후에 지역적으로 한반도 남부와 서북 구주지역에 초점이 맞추어져 왔다. 이는 당시 양 지역 간에 존재했을 다양한 지역적 관계를 과소평가하는 결과를 가져왔다고 판단된다. 이러한 문제점을 바탕으로, 필자는 죠몽시대(?文時代) 만기부터 야요이시대(?生時代) 조기에 이르기까지 통시적으로, 한반도와 서일본이라는 광역적 지역관계를 검토 하고자 하였다. 죠몽시대 만기부터 야요이시대 조기에 걸쳐 한반도와 관련되는 이중구연토기, 공렬토기, 각목돌대문토기, 단도마연호, 대륙계마제석기들의 병행시기와 분포상을 검토한 결과, 한반도 남부와 서일본 각지간(산음지방山陰地方, 남부구주南部九州, 중부세토우치中部瀨戶內, 서북구주西北九州)의 다양한 지역관계가 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 특히 야요이문화(?生文化)는 이전부터 존재하던 다양한 지역관계를 바탕으로 비로소 성립하고, 이때부터 본격적으로 한반도 남부와 서북구주의 지역관계가 분명해 진다. 한반도와 서일본의 관계는 야요이문화성립을 전후하여 다른데, 야요이문화 성립 이전에는 한반도와 서일본각지의 관계가 소지역별로 개별적인 양상으로 보인다. 이후에는 한반도 남부로부터 소규모 집단의 도래인이 동시다발적으로 서북구주에 정착하여 재지문화와 동화되어 갔다고 볼 수 있다. 죠몽시대와 야요이시대의 한반도적 요소의 차이는 단순히 양적차이로만 볼 수 없고, 재지 죠몽문화의 해체현상, 죠몽내적 필요성, 한반도와 서일본간의 지속적인 지역관계 속에서 나타나는 재지인의 대처양상 등이 복합적으로 작용한 결과라 판단된다.

영문 초록

Up to now, the regional relations between Korean Peninsulaand the westem Japan have been focused on the timesince Yayoi Period and the region of the southern Korean Peninsulaand the northwestern Kyusyu. It is viewed as the result of the undervaluation of the then existing various relationship between them. Therefore, I examined the broad area of Korean Peninsula and the western Japan through final Jomon to initial Yayoi. I analyzed parallel relationship and cultural aspect between Korea and Japan, especially Double-limed Pottery, Rim-holed Pottery, Pottery with a Notched Raised Band, Red-Burnished Pottery, and Continental Assemblage of Stone Tools. As a result, it could be found that the southern Korean Peninsula and the western Japan-Sanin region, the northern Kyusyu region, central Setouti and the northwestern Kyusyu-are diversely related. Yayoi culture was actually formed from the previous regional relations of them, and from then on, it began to be clear many phases of the link between the southern Korean Peninsula and the northwestern Kyusyu. Meanwhile, the regional link was different before and after the formation of Yayoi culture. The former had a separate and occasional relation while the latter had a simultaneous and manifold one. But, the features of the culture of the Pottery with a Notched Raised Band and Yayoi culture which built the network of the western Japan are not due to only result from the amount of external factors. It is believed that there were many mixed factors such as resident s correspondence to the continual implication from Korean peninsula, internal necessity, contemporaneousness of the eastern Asia.
