초등학교 방과후 학교 음악 프로그램 참여 강사의 인식조사

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 방과후 음악프로그램에 참여하는 강사들이 담당 프로그램에 대해 어떻게 인식을 하고 있는지 알아보기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 강사들의 인식을 기초로 현재 진행 중인 초등학교 방과후 음악 프로그램의 특징들을 음악교육적 측면, 정규 음악 수업과의 연계성 측면, 그리고 음악성과 창의성 신장 기여 측면에서 살펴보고 그 결과를 토대로 방과후 학교 음악 프로그램의 현 상황을 진단하고자 하였다. 강사들의 인식 조사를 위해 2015년 2월부터 6월까지 광주광역시와 전라남도 관내 초등학교에 방과후 학교 음악 프로그램을 직접 운영하고 교수과정에 참여하고 있는 강사들에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 결과적으로 응답자 전원이 과정별 학습목표를 가지고 프로그램을 운영하고 있었으며, 응답자의 76.2%가 방과후 음악 프로그램이 보조적 수단이 아닌 독립적 과정으로 인식하고 있으면서도, 73.8%가 정규 음악수업과 연계가 필요하다고 보고 있었고, 응답자의 92.9%가 방과후 음악 프로그램 강사와 음악교과 담당 교사의 교류가 필요하다는 인식을 가지고 있었다. 또한 응답자 모두 방과후 음악 프로그램이 학생들의 음악성과 창의성 신장에 기여해야한다고 믿고 있으며, 다만, 응답자의 담당 음악 프로그램이 학생들의 음악성과 창의성 신장에 영향을 주는지에 대해서는 각각 약 97%와 약 85% 응답자가 영향을 준다는 인식을 하고 있었다.

영문 초록

The preliminary purpose of the study is to figure out the understanding of the instructors who participate in the after-school music programs in the elementary schools in Korea. Based on the understanding of the instructors toward on their after-school music programs, the aspect of the music education, the aspect of the correlation between general music classes and the after-school music programs, and the aspect of contributing on musicality and creativity of the students are to be reviewed and the present situation of the after-school music programs is to be diagnosed. In the result of the survey all respondents have their own teaching goals and 76.2% of the respondents understands that the after-school music programs are not auxiliary but independent. The respondents of 73.8% answer that the correlation or co-working between the two is needed. The 92.9% understands that the teachers teaching general music classes and the instructors of the after-school music programs need to be exchanging in terms of music education. About the 97% believes that their programs are affective to the students musicality and about 85% believes that they are affective to the students creativity. There are some suggestions in the result of the study. It is urgent to have any efforts to discuss and study on setting the right relationship between the general music education and after-school music programs. It is suggested that a right pursuing goal for the after-school music programs need to be proposed. It is suggested that a further study on how and how much students musicality and creativity are developed and affected by the after-school music programs.
