발달장애학교에서의 전자도서 활용실태 및 개선방안

국문 초록

제7차 특수학교 교육과정은 교육 공급자 중심에서 수요자 중심으로의 전환이라는 특징을 살리고, 학습자의 창의력 향상과 교수자의 수업 수월성을 위해 전자도서로 개발되어 각 학교에 보급되었다. 그러나 전자도서가 보급된지 일년 반이 지난 현재 현장에서 어떻게 사용되고 있는지, 그리고 사용상의 장단점은 무엇인지에 대한 중간 점검이 이루어지지는 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 전국의 발달장애학교를 중심으로 전자도서의 활용실태를 알아보고 전자도서의 효율적인 활용을 위한 개선점을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구의 결과는 전자도서의 활용을 위한 하드웨어적인 환경은 구비되어있으나, 전자도서가 적극적으로 수업에 활용되고 있지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 전자도서의 다양한 활용을 위해서는 무엇보다 교사들의 전자도서 활용능력을 함양시켜줄 수 있는 전문적 교육기관의 연수가 절대적으로 필요하며, 또한 현장의 교사들이 많은 시간을 투자하지 않더라고 수업에 바로 활용할 수 있도록 교사들의 요구 및 활용의 편의성을 반영하는 전자도서의 재구성이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Along with the 7th Revision of Special School Curriculum, the e-book was developed and distributed to special schools over the nation in order to enhance learner's creativity and learning competence. Since the e-book was developed one and half years ago, the evaluation of e-book has not been implemented formally on how the e-book is being used and on the pro and cons of using e-books. Thus, at this point, the purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of e- book application at special schools and to find out improvement of e-book for effective application. The result of this study shows, first, although the hardware and software environment has been provided for using e-book, the actual using e-books in classroom is not implemented yet. Second, it is pointed that for effective using of e-book at the classroom, the student access to computer and multimedia materials should be guaranteed. Third, it is suggested that most of all, systematic workshop should be provided to teachers to enhance the ability of teaching methods with e-book and multimedia materials. Forth, the e-book should be re-organized in order to ease classroom application, so teachers can use e-book with less efforts and without spending much time.
