The tourism industry is one of the most influential sectors driving national development. However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, environmental degradation, and socio-political instability continue to hinder its growth and sustainability. Issues like poor transportation systems, environmental damage, and safety concerns further compound these obstacles, limiting the industry's capacity to meet tourism demand. Additionally, political factors often lead to uneven resource allocation, prioritizing more developed regions over marginalized communities. Emerging trends like digitalization and shifting consumer preferences necessitate innovative marketing strategies to adapt to the changing landscape. In the case of Central Luzon, Philippines, the region boasts a rich array of cultural experiences and natural attractions. Despite these assets, its tourism industry faces significant challenges. Addressing these issues requires a thorough understanding of the socio-economic demographics of tourists and the PESTLE (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental) factors influencing the sector. Beyond PESTLE factors, demographic profiles play a critical role in shaping the tourism industry. Given its dependence on a steady influx of visitors, understanding demographic factors is essential for developing effective strategies. By aligning industry practices with the needs and preferences of diverse tourist groups, stakeholders can create tailored approaches that ensure sustainable growth. Moreover, the established relationship between the PESTLE factors and the demographic profiles of the respondents presents a significant impact on the effect of a tourist’s profile against an external factor.
