국문 초록

본 연구는 플립드 러닝과 협력적 그룹스터디를 결합한 교육모형이 IT 직업교육에서 ㅇ학습자들의 학업 성취도, 자기주도적 학습태도, 학업적 자기효능감, 학습몰입, 학습 실재감 등에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구는 컴퓨터공학과 파이썬 프로그래밍 교과목을 대상으로 15주 동안 플립드 러닝 기반 협력적 그룹스터디를 설계·적용하여 학습자들에게 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 연구 참여자는 2학년 재학생 20명으로, 자기주도적 학습태도, 학업적 자기효능감, 학습몰입, 학습 실재감 등의 변화를 사전-사후 검사 및 학업성장지수를 산출하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 플립드 러닝과 협력적 그룹스터디는 학습자들의 자기주도적 학습태도와 학업적 자기효능감을 유의미하게 향상시키고, 학습몰입과 학습 실재감의 긍정적인 변화를 유도하였으며, 학업성장지수를 높이는 데에도 효과적이었다. 특히, 학습자들은 플립드 러닝을 통해 이론 학습을 사전에 준비하고, 협력적 그룹스터디를 통해 동료 학습자들과 충분한 상호작용과 프로그래밍 실습에 자기주도적으로 참여함으로써 실질적인 문제 해결 능력과 협업 역량을 강화할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 플립드 러닝과 협력적 그룹스터디가 학습자 중심의 효과적인 교수법으로 IT 직업교육에 적합하다는 점을 입증하며, 학습자들이 미래 직업 환경에서 요구되는 자기주도적 학습 능력, 협업 능력, 창의적 문제 해결 능력을 배양하는 데 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사한다. 또한, 본 연구는 플립드 러닝과 협력적 그룹스터디의 결합 모델이 기존의 전통적 강의 중심 교수법을 보완하고, 학습 효과를 극대화하는 데 적합한 교수법임을 보여준다. 아울러 본 연구는 IT 직업교육뿐만 아니라 공학, 의료, 예술 등 다양한 분야에서 학습자 중심의 교수법 개발 및 적용 가능성을 제시하며, 교육의 질적 향상을 위한 실천적 방안을 마련하는 데 중요한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study empirically analyzed the impact of an educational model combining flipped learning and collaborative group study on learners' academic achievement, self-directed learning attitudes, academic self-efficacy, learning engagement, and learning presence in IT vocational education. The study targeted a Python programming course for 15 weeks in the Department of Computer Engineering, where a flipped learning-based collaborative group study model was designed and implemented to observe its effects on learners. The participants included 20 second-year undergraduate students, and changes in self-directed learning attitudes, academic self-efficacy, learning engagement, and learning presence were analyzed through pre- and post-tests and academic growth indices. The results revealed that flipped learning and collaborative group study significantly improved learners' self-directed learning attitudes and academic self-efficacy, induced positive changes in learning engagement and learning presence, and effectively enhanced academic growth indices. Specifically, learners prepared theoretical concepts in advance through flipped learning and actively engaged in peer interaction and programming practices through collaborative group study, strengthening their problem-solving and collaborative skills. These findings demonstrate that flipped learning and collaborative group study serve as effective learner-centered teaching methods suitable for IT vocational education. Furthermore, they suggest that this approach positively influences learners in developing essential competencies such as self-directed learning, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, which are critical for future professional environments. Additionally, this study highlights that the combined model of flipped learning and collaborative group study complements traditional lecture-based teaching methods and maximizes learning outcomes. It also indicates the applicability of this learner-centered teaching model in diverse fields such as engineering, healthcare, and the arts, providing practical strategies to enhance the quality of education. The findings serve as valuable foundational data for the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods aimed at fostering educational excellence.
