안전교육이 안전행동에 미치는 영향 - 안전태도와 안전동기의 직렬 이중매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 안전교육이 안전행동에 미치는 영향 관계에서 안전태도와 안전동기의 이중매개효과를 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 통하여 연구실안전법 적용 대상 기관의 연구활동종사자들의 안전행동 증가방안에 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 연구목적 달성을 위하여 연구실안전법 적용대상 기관의 연구활동종사자를 대상으로 2023년 10월에 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 482부를 회수하였으며, 최종 430부를 활용하여 통계분석을 실시하였다. 통계는 SPSS 26.0과 SPSS Process Macro v3.5를 활용하여 직렬 이중매개효과를 분석하였으며, AMOS 23.0을 활용하여 조사도구의 타당성을 확인하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 안전교육은 안전행동과 안전태도에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 안전태도는 안전행동에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 안전교육과 안전태도는 안전동기에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 안전동기는 안전행동에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 안전태도와 안전동기는 안전교육이 안전행동에 미치는 관계에서 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 안전교육은 안전태도에 정적 영향을 미치고, 안전태도는 안전동기에 정적 영향을 미치고, 최종적으로 안전동기는 안전행동에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 종합해보면 연구현장에서는 기관 및 연구자들의 특성을 고려하여 효율적으로 안전교육을 실시할 필요가 있다. 특히, 안전태도와 안전동기는 안전교육과 안전행동 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타나 이를 향상시키기 위한 안전교육 프로그램을 실시하는 것이 중요하다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to confirm the sequential mediation effect of safety attitude and safety behavior in the relationship between safety education and safety behavior. Through this, it provides implications for increasing safety behavior of researchers in institutions subject to the Laboratory Safety Act. To achieve the research purpose, an online survey was conducted in October 2023 targeting researchers in institutions subject to the Laboratory Safety Act. A total of 482 copies were collected, and statistical analysis was conducted using 430 copies in the end. Statistics were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and SPSS Process Macro v3.5 to analyze the sequential mediation effect, and AMOS 23.0 was used to confirm the validity of the survey tool. The main research results are as follows. First, safety education had a positive effect on safety behavior and safety attitude, and safety attitude had a positive effect on safety behavior. Second, safety education and safety attitude had a positive effect on safety motivation, and safety motivation had a positive effect on safety behavior. Third, safety attitude and safety motivation were found to play a mediating role in the relationship between safety education and safety behavior. Fourth, safety education had a positive effect on safety attitude, safety attitude had a positive effect on safety motivation, and finally safety motivation had a positive effect on safety behavior. In summary, these results suggest that research sites need to conduct safety education efficiently by considering the characteristics of institutions and researchers. In particular, safety attitude and safety motivation were found to partially mediate the relationship between safety education and safety behavior, suggesting that it is important to conduct safety education programs to improve this.
