국문 초록

동서고금을 막론하고 여행은 사람이 살아가는 데 꼭 필요한 행위였다. 그 모습이 시대와 환경에 따라 차이는 있겠지만, 그 속에서 다양한 가치를 찾아 보다나은 삶을 위한 노력은 어느 때 어느 곳에서나 공통적으로 행해졌다. 이런 여행을 우리 선조들은 유람이라는 개념으로 실현하였다. 예부터 우리 선조들은 유람을 단순한 여가 활동이 아닌 공부와 수양의 한 과정으로 중요하게 생각했다. 특히 산을 유람하는 것이 仁을 얻는 과정이라 생각하여 큰 의미를 두었는데, 그중에서 금강산 유람은 많은 사람이 평생의 소원으로 여길 만큼 매우 바라던 일이었다. 이런 금강산 유람을 목재 홍여하는 관직 생활 중에 좌천이라는 시련과 함께 맞이하게 되었다. 그 유람에 대한 계기가 남달랐으며, 여정에서도 특별함이 있었다. 이런 경험을 목재는 다섯 편의 유람기에 남겨 두었는데, 그 작품이 가지는 의미와 가치, 작품 속에 드러난 의식에 대한 검토가 없을 수는 없다. 이에 목재의 금강산 유람에 대한 양상의 특별한 점과 의미에 대해 살펴보고, 작품 속에 드러난 표현양상과 의식지향은 무엇이었는지 살펴보고자 한다.

영문 초록

Regardless of time and place, travel has been an essential activity for people to live. Although the appearance may differ depending on the era and environment, efforts to find various values and create a better life have been common at any time and any place. Our ancestors realized this kind of travel with the concept of sightseeing. Since ancient times, our ancestors have considered sightseeing important as a process of study and discipline, not just a leisure activity. In particular, sightseeing the mountains was given great significance as it was thought to be a process of acquiring benevolence, and among them, touring Mt. Geumgang was something that many people longed for so much that they considered it a lifelong wish. This sightseeing to Mt. Geumgang is met with the ordeal of being demoted while working as a government official. The reason for the sightseeing was special, and the itinerary was also different from others. This experience was left behind through sightseeing records and sightseeing poem, and it is impossible not to examine the meaning and value of the work and the consciousness revealed in the work. Therefore, I would like to examine the special points and meanings of the aspects of Mokjae(木齋)'s sightseeing to Mt. Geumgang, and examine the expression patterns and consciousness orientation revealed in the work.
