국문 초록

현대사회는 불확실성, 불안정성, 불안전성을 특징으로 하는 전례 없는 수준의 변화를 겪고 있다. 오랫동안 유지되어 온 확실성이 예측 불가능성으로 대체되어 인간 삶의 다양한 측면에 영향을 미치고 있다. 그동안 교육개발협력은 눈에 띄는 성과를 거두었지만, 적잖은 비판도 받아왔다. 교육개발협력은 사회적 여건과 맥락에 영향을 받으므로 급변하는 사회적 조건에 대한 적응을 필요로 한다. 본 연구는 지그문트 바우만의 근대성 이론을 적용하여 교육개발협력이 이러한 사회적 변화에 효과적으로 대응하고 새로운 맥락에 적응할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 글로벌 교육 의제를 분석하여 교육개발협력의 한계를 확인하고 향후 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Contemporary society is undergoing an unprecedented level of change, characterized by uncertainty, instability, and insecurity. Long-held certainties are being replaced by unpredictability, impacting various aspects of human life. Meanwhile, education development cooperation has achieved notable successes; however, it has also faced substantial criticism. Education development cooperation is affected by social circumstances and contexts, necessitating adaptation to rapidly changing social conditions. This study aims to explore how education development cooperation can effectively respond to these social changes and adapt to new contexts, adopting Zygmunt Bauman’s theory of modernity. By analyzing global education agendas, this study seeks to identify limitations and propose future directions for education development cooperation.
