시각적 표현을 활용한 문제 만들기 활동에서 학생들이 만든 문제 양상 및 비례 추론에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 시각적 표현을 활용한 문제 만들기 활동을 개발하여 6학년 비례식과 비례배분 수업에 적용하고, 학생들이 만든 문제 수준과 오류 양상 및 비례 추론 수준의 변화를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 학생이 만든 문제의 수준을 완전성, 전달성, 일상성 측면에서 분석하고 그때 나타나는 오류를 살펴보았다. 비례 추론 수준은 검사지에서 사용한 전략에 따라 0~3수준으로 분류하고, 사전·사후검사 결과를 비교·분석하였다. 활동에서 학생들이 만든 문제는 3수준이 가장 많았고, 전달성보다 완전성과 일상성 측면에서의 오류가 많이 나타났다. 비례 추론 검사 결과, 질적 과제보다 양적 과제에서 더 유의미한 변화가 관찰되었고 시각적 표현을 활용하였을 때 정답률이 더 높게 나타났다. 시각적 표현을 활용한 문제 만들기 활동은 의미 있는 비례 추론 학습 방법으로서 작용할 수 있고, 비례 추론 지도 시 일상성이 반영된 과제를 제공하여 비례 개념을 현실적 맥락에서 깊이 있게 이해하도록 도울 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a problem posing activity using visual representations, to apply it to the proportion and proportional distribution unit for 6th graders, and to analyze the level and error patterns of the problems made by students, and changes in the level of proportional reasoning. The level of problem was analyzed in terms of completion, communication, and everydayness, and errors that appeared by problem level were examined. The level of proportional reasoning was classified into levels 0 to 3 according to the strategy used in the test paper, and the pre and post test results were compared and analyzed. In the activity, the most problems created by 6th graders were level 3, and more errors appeared in completion and everydayness than communication. As a result of the proportional reasoning test, more significant changes were observed in the quantitative task than in the qualitative task, and the percentage of correct answers was higher when visual representation was used. It suggests that this activity can be an useful learning method in proportional reasoning, and that it is necessary to help understanding of proportionality by providing tasks reflecting everydayness
