부모자녀관계, 학업성적, 그리고 창의성 간 인과관계 종단분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 학업성취 맥락에서 고등학생의 부모자녀관계, 학업성적 및 창의성의 종단적 인과관계를 구조방정식모형으로 분석하였다. 분석대상은 한국교육종단연구 2013의 6차에서 8차까지 탈락하지 않고 응답한 고등학생 각각 수학 가형(이과생) 1,293명과 수학 나형(문과생) 2,252명이다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 두 모형 공통으로 부모자녀관계의 상호작용은 창의성에 정적효과를 나타내고, 부모자녀관계의 학업지원은 학업성적과 창의성에 정적효과가 유의하였다. 둘째, 두 모형 공통으로 이전 시점의 학업성적과 창의성은 다음 시점의 학업성적과 창의성에 정적효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 셋째, 두 모형 공통으로 고등학교 1학년 시기 학업성적은 동일 시점 창의성에 정적효과가 유의하였다. 다만 고등학교 2학년 시기에서는 수학 가형 모형에서만 학업성적이 동일 시점 창의성에 정적효과가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 반면에 두 모형 공통으로 이전 시점의 창의성은 이후 시점의 학업성적에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 수학 가형 모형(이과생)에서 고1 학업성적은 고2 창의성에 부적효과를 나타내지만, 수학 나형 모형(문과생)에서는 이전의 학업성적이 다음 시점의 창의성에 어떠한 영향도 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 고등학생 시기 학업성적과 창의성의 정적효과는 안정적으로 유지되고, 학업성취 맥락에서 고등학교 1학년 시기 부모자녀관계는 고등학교 3학년까지 학업성적과 창의성에 직·간접효과를 통해 지속적으로 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study was to analyze the longitudinal causal relationship between academic achievement and creativity using the autoregressive cross-lagged model. The analysis data are from the 6th to 8th panel data of KELS. The analysis results are as follows. First, in common, the interaction of parent-child relationship had a significant positive effect on creativity, and the academic support had a significant positive effect on academic achievement and creativity. Second, in both models, the positive effects of both academic achievement and the autoregressive coefficients of creativity were significantly confirmed. Third, it was found that the academic achievement in the first year of high school had a significant positive effect on creativity. Whereas, it was found that creativity at the previous point did not significantly affect the academic achievement at the later point. Fourth, only in the science-oriented student model, the academic achievement of the first year of high school negatively affected the creativity of the second year of high school. Based on the results of this study, the influence of the parent-child relationship on the academic achievement and creativity of high school students still remains, and suggestions for a follow-up study between academic achievement and creativity on liberal arts and natural sciences in Korea were presented.
