국문 초록

이 연구는 중학생 성별과 거주지역에 따라 학습동기, 학교적응, 진로결정 자기효능감의 차이를 밝히고, 주요 변인들과의 관계를 확인하며, 학습동기와 학교적응의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과가 있는지 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 4개 지역 중학생을 대상으로 조사를 실시하여 240명의 응답결과를 분석에 사용하였다. SPSS와 Jamovi 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 일원분산분석과 사후검증, 매개효과분석을 통해 연구문제를 확인하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 거주지역에 따른 중학생의 학습동기, 학교적응, 진로결정 자기효능감을 확인한 결과 대도시, 중소도시, 농촌지역은 학습동기, 학교적응에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 어촌지역의 평균은 통계적으로 유의하게 낮았다. 둘째, 학습동기, 학교적응, 진로결정 자기효능감 모든 변인들 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 셋째, 학습동기와 학교적응 간에 진로결정 자기효능감의 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 이 연구는 중학생의 학습동기와 학교적응에서 거주지역 요인의 영향력을 확인하였으며, 향후 중학생의 교육활동 및 상담, 진로 프로그램개발에서 거주지역 및 지역적 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 접근이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore differences in learning motivation, school adaptation, and career decision self-efficacy among middle school students based on gender and residential areas, and to examine the relationships with key variables. Additionally, the study investigates whether there is a mediating effect of career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between learning motivation and school adaptation. To achieve these objectives, a survey was conducted with 240 middle school students from four different regions, and the responses were analyzed using SPSS and Jamovi statistical programs for one-way analysis of variance, post tests, and mediating effect analysis. The analysis results are as follows. Firstly, regarding residential areas, while there were no statistically significant differences in learning motivation and school adaptation among students from metropolitan city, small and medium-sized city, and rural areas, and this difference was statistically significant, but the average in fishing village area was low, which was statistically significant. Secondly, significant positive correlations were found among all variables, including learning motivation, school adaptation, and career decision self-efficacy.
