영문 초록

This article investigates lexicons required by foreign students for KAP. Recently, the number of foreign students who study in Korean universities are increasing. Most of the students go on to university after they are educated at institutions of Korean language education. However, the lexicons dealt in university classes are different in some ways with those dealt in institutions for general students, which causes many difficulties for foreign students who study in Korean universities. If they are taught in the lexicons related with their major before they go on to university, it will be of much help for their future schooling in university. The purpose of this article is to compare the Korean lexicons for general purpose with those for academic purpose, and to show the necessity of Korean lexicons for academic purpose.
