국문 초록

고대 건물의 복원은 완전하지 않은 유구의 논리적인 해석, 현존하지 않는 실물자료에 대한 다각적인 접근 등의 과정을 통해 통용될수 있는 고증안이 결과로써 제시될 때 그 역사적 진정성이 담보될수 있다. 본고에서는 백제 사비기 익산지역에서 확인되는 건물의 구조적인요소들을 고고학과 건축학의 시각에서 검토하여 당시 건물의 모습을추정할 수 있는 요소들을 살펴보았다. 먼저 왕궁리유적, 미륵사지, 제석사지 주요 건물의 대지조성, 하부구조 등의 검토를 통해 건물의위계와 성격에 따라 규모, 구조, 형태의 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 하부구조의 위치, 형태 등을 바탕으로 건물의 구조적 결합과 안정성 등을 추정하였다. 특히 초석건물지의 경우 부속시설과 출토 기와의 검토를 통해 상부구조 복원 시 고려하여야 할 처마내밀기, 처마의 각도에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다. 다음으로 건축학적 측면에서 상부구조 복원을 위한 이론적 검토를실시하였다. 먼저 중국과 일본의 규범서와 사례 등을 검토하여 건물의 비례체계, 구조 등의 기준을 파악하였다. 특히 기초부를 통한 규모의 추정, 주칸을 통한 비례관계 및 상부와의 연관성, 입면의 비례체계, 처마내밀기와 구조의 연관성 등을 검토하여 상부구조 복원을위한 근거를 파악하였다. 이러한 일련의 과정을 거쳐 진행된 익산 미륵사지 주요 건물의 고증안을 정리하고 검토함으로써 향후 고증연구주안점을 살펴보았다.

영문 초록

In this paper, the structural elements of the building identified in Iksan during the Sabi period of Baekje were reviewed from the perspective of archaeology and architecture, and the factors that could estimate the appearance of the building at that time were examined. First, it was confirmed that there are differences in size, structure, and form depending on the hierarchy and characteristics of the building through a review of the site creation and substructure of buildings in Wanggung-ri, Mireuk Temple Site, and Jeseok Temple Site. In addition, the structural combination and stability of the building were estimated based on the location and shape of the substructure. In particular, in the case of the cornerstone building site, through the review of auxiliary facilities and excavated tiles, implications for the length of the eaves and the angle of the eaves to be considered when restoring the superstructure were presented. Next, in order to restore the superstructure in terms of architecture, theoretical reviews such as normative documents and cases from China and Japan were conducted. In particular, the basis for restoring the superstructure was identified by reviewing the estimation of the size through the foundation, the proportional relationship through the main compartment and the relationship with the upper part, the proportional system of the elevation, and the relationship between the length of the eaves and the structure. The main focus of future historical research was examined by organizing and reviewing the historical evidence of major buildings in Mireuk Temple Site in Iksan through this series of processes.
