국문 초록

本研究では韓国語の多義動詞｢빠지다｣の意味を｢起点－経路－着点｣のイメージスキーマの焦点化に基づいて統一的に記述し､各意味に対応する日本語動詞について考察した｡ まず､本研究では韓国語動詞｢빠지다｣の意味を焦点の当て方によって次のように６つに分けて分析した｡起点から離れることに焦点が置かれ､元の位置から対象が抜けることを表す用法A､対象が抜けた欠如に焦点が置かれる用法B､離脱した対象自体が焦点化される用法C､離脱する様態が焦点化される用法D､離脱する経路に焦点が置かれる用法E､到達点に焦点が置かれる用法Fがそれである｡ ｢빠지다｣に対応する日本語表現をまとめると､まず､起点から離脱することや元の領域にできた欠如に焦点が置かれる用法は､概ね日本語の｢抜ける｣に対応していた｡｢抜ける｣は｢빠지다｣と同じく｢北側に抜ける道｣のように経路を通過するという意味としても用いられる点で両言語の間に共通点が見られた｡また､起点と到達点に焦点がある日本語動詞｢落ちる｣にも｢빠지다｣の多くの用法が対応していた｡到達点に焦点があり､好ましくない状況には｢陥る｣が､どこかに深く入って抜け出しにくいことを強調するときは｢溺れる｣｢嵌まる｣が対応していた｡その他､｢빠지다｣に対応する日本語には､用法Aから｢(車などの)流れがいい｣｢(物件が問題なく)売れる｣､用法Bから｢足りない｣｢劣る｣｢欠席する｣､用法Cから｢とれる｣｢のこる｣､用法Dから｢すらりとした｣｢スタイルがいい｣のような表現が見られた｡

영문 초록

This study is about the meaning of the Korean polysemous verb ppajida. We analyzed semantic structure of the word using the image schema of cognitive semantics, and matched Japanese equivalents to each meaning. First, in this research, we analyzed the meaning of the Korean verb ppajida. by dividing it into the following six categories according to the focus; usage A that focuses on moving away from the source location and expresses the object leaving its original position, usage B that focuses on the absence of the object, usage C that focuses on the departed object itself, usage D that focuses on how to leave, usage E that focuses on the path, and usage F that focuses on the goal. Second, we investigated the Japanese equivalents of ppajida. The usage A and the usage B are matched to the Japanese verb nukeru generally. And nukeru is used to mean passing through a route, as with ppajida usage E. Japanese verb ochiru, which focuses on the source location and the goal, also corresponded to many usage of ppajida. When the ‘goal’ is an undesirable situation, ochiiru is matched to ppajida. And hamaru and oboreru is matched to emphasize that it is difficult to get out of somewhere. In addition, the Japanese equivalents of ppajida include nagareru and ureru(usage A), otoru and kessekisuru(usage B), toreru and nokoru(usage C), and the expression such as suraritositeiru(slender, usage D).
