The kaiseki-ryori is a traditional multi-course Japanese Cuisine. Kaiseki-ryori restaurants is also called Ryotei, Kaiseki-ryoriya, Sokuseki-ryoriya, Ryoriya, Ryorichaya, and Kappo, all of which mean the same thing. Ryotei began to be used as a place for receptions and meetings by the chonin, whose economic power greatly increased. As Ryotei was built around an important point where many holidaymakers gathered and had convenient transportation, Ryotei itself came to be regarded as a famous hot spot. Ryotei, which has become an enviable hot place, is also consumed as various cultural contents such as sugoroku, banzuke, ukiyo-e, and novels such as ninjobon. This paper presents examples of ukiyo-e produced with Ryotei as the subject and ninjobon using Ryotei as a spatial background. Through this, it was confirmed that the Ryotei at the time was transformed into a high-class social space such as a luxury hotel or luxury salon that provides not only alcohol and food, but also sleeping and bathing, as well as clothes rental and money loan services. It was also confirmed that each Ryotei had its own specialty, such as Ryoutei Daisichi's bathhouse or Ryoutei Mankyu's Makunouchi bento. Lastly, in the Ninjobon text, which has not been confirmed so far, the fact that the Hanamizubashi Bridge is a pseudonym for Yanagibashi Bridge, which was built at the intersection of the Kanda River and the Sumida River. the Ryotei Kameya that existed there It was also confirmed that it was called Kamesei to distinguish it from Kameya in other places.
