애착불안과 대학생활적응과의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 애착불안이 대인존재감과 대인관계능력을 매개로 대학생활적응에 어떤 영향을미치는지 구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 매개효과를 검증하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 이루기 위하여 서울, 경기에 소재한 대학교에 재학하고 있는 286명의 자료를 수집하였고, SPSS 19.0과 AMOS18.0을 사용하여 자료 분석을 하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 대학생의 애착불안은 대인존재감과 대학생활적응에 유의한 부적 영향을 미치고 있었지만, 대인관계능력에는 유의한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 대인존재감도 대인관계능력에 유의한 정적 영향을 주고 있었지만, 대학생활적응에는 유의한영향이 없었다. 대인관계능력은 대학생활적응에 유의한 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 둘째, 대학생의 애착불안과 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 대인존재감과 대인관계능력의 매개 효과를 검증한 결과,대인존재감이 대인관계능력을 통해 대학생활적응에 영향을 미치는 순차적 부분 이중매개효과가 있는것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 근거로 볼 때, 대학생의 성공적인 대학생활적응을 돕기 위해서는애착불안을 낮추려는 노력과 함께 매개변인으로 확인된 대인존재감과 대인관계능력의 향상을 통해개입하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study is aimed to examine the structural relation between attachment anxiety andadaptation to college with mattering and interpersonal relationship competence as mediators andverify their mediating effects. To this end, data from 286 students attending universities in Seouland Gyeonggi-do was collected, and the data was analyzed with the use of SPSS 19.0 and AMOS18.0. The results are as follows. The university students’ attachment anxiety had a significantlynegative effect on mattering and adaptation to college but no significantly effect on interpersonalrelationship competence. A significantly positive effect of mattering on interpersonal relationshipcompetence was also found, but not on adaptation to college. Interpersonal relationshipcompetence had a significantly positive effect on adaptation to college. Second, according to the results of verifying the mediating effects of mattering andinterpersonal relationship competence in the relation between the university students’ attachmentanxiety and adaptation to college, mattering had a sequential partial double mediating effect onadaptation to college through interpersonal relationship competence. The results of this studyshow the need for intervention through the improvement of mattering and interpersonalrelationship competence identified as mediating variables along with efforts to help universitystudents lower their attachment anxiety for successful adaptation to college.
