국문 초록

본 연구는 학교장의 의사소통 능력이 학교장의 권한위임과 학교조직효과성 사이에 어떠한 매개효과가 있는지를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 위하여 이론적 검토를 통하여 연구모형을 구안하여 검증하였다. 386명의 중등학교 교사를 대상으로 분석한 결과, 이론 모형은 x2 =348.411(p<.001), TLI=.919, RMSEA=.106, NFI=.921, 그리고 CFI=.934로 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 구체적인 연구 결과, 학교장의 의사소통 능력, 권한위임 그리고 학교조직효과성 간에는 상호 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 있었으며, 학교장의 권한위임은 의사소통 능력과 학교조직효과성에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학교장의 의사소통 능력은 학교조직효과성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 의사소통 능력은 학교장의 권한위임이 학교조직효과성에 미치는 영향에 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study is to explore the mediation effect of communication skills between principal's empowerment and school organizational effectiveness in secondary school. For the purposes, the theoretical model was constructed to explore the mediation effect of communication skills, and examined the direct and indirect effects of principal's empowerment on the school organizational effectiveness. Following the results of the study, The fit indices of theoretical model are very good; x2 =348.411(p<.001), TLI=.919, RMSEA=.106, NFI=.921, and CFI=.934. The results of the study are followed; First, there are significant relationships among principal's communication skills, empowerment and school organizational effectiveness. Second, principal's empowerment directly affect communication skills and school organizational effectiveness, and communication skills between principal and teacher affect school organizational effectiveness. Third, communication skills serves as a positive mediator to the effects of principal's empowerment on the school organizational effectiveness. Therefore, principals of secondary school should exercise empowerment to enhance the school organizational effectiveness through communication skills.
