예비 유아교사의 현장경험을 통해 바라본 유아교사 역할에 대한 비판적 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구문제는 예비 유아교사의 현장경험에 대한 반성적 저널 속에 나타난 유아 교사의 역할수행에 대한 비판적 고찰 경험이 어떠한가를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대 상은 K 대학의 3년제 유아교육과 2학년 2학기에 재학 중인 학생 26명이며, 이들의 현장경험 후의 반성적 저널을 내용분석 하였다. 분석결과 예비 유아교사가 현장경험을 통하여 인식한 유아교사의 역할에 대한 비판적 고찰 경험은 첫째, ‘수업이외의 역할 고찰’, 둘째, ‘수업활동 수행을 위한 역 할’로 범주화되었다. 예비 유아교사들은 현장경험을 통해 교사양성기관에서 형성한 신념이나 이론에 따라 유아교사의 역할에 대한 비판적 사고과정을 거치면서 유아 교사로서의 역할에 대한 인식을 재정립하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study was to examine early childhood student teachers’ critical standpoint on the early childhood in-service teachers’ roles from the reflective journals on their field experiences. The subjects were 26 early childhood student teachers enrolled to the 4th semester of the early childhood education program in the K College. Data were collected by their reflective journal on the field experiences and analyzed by qualitatively. As a result, the critical standpoint on the early childhood in-service teachers’ roles was as follows: First, ‘the roles excepting teaching.’ Second, ‘the roles for performing the teaching.’ The study implies that the early childhood student teachers have a chance to rebuild the perception of their roles as a early childhood teacher through the field experiences and the process of the reflective thinking about the in-service teachers’ roles according to their beliefs and theories which have been built during the student teacher education program.
