고등학교 수학과 교육과정 편성 실태 분석

국문 초록

학생의 진로․적성에 따른 선택권과 다양성을 강조하는 고교학점제는 수능을 포함한 대입제도와의 연계성이라는 큰 과제를 지니고 있다. 2022학년도 수능은 2015 개정 교육과정에 기반하여 문․이과 통합형 수능 체제가 처음으로 도입되기 때문에 현 시점에서 단위학교의 교육과정 편성 실태 분석이 요구된다. 본고는 수능 수학 영역 출제범위를 중심으로 고등학교 수학과 교육과정 편성 실태를 분석하여 수능 체제의 변화가 단위학교 수학과 교육과정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고 수학과 교육과정 편성에 대한 개선점과 시사점을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 서울시교육청 소속 일반고등학교 190개교와 자율고등학교 39개교의 2개년 수학과 교육과정 편성 현황을 전수조사하였다. 분석 결과, 수능 수학 영역 출제범위 변화가 단위학교 수학과 교육과정 편성에 상당히 영향을 주고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 단위학교별로 수능 수학 영역 선택 과목에 대한 학생 선택권에 큰 차이를 보이고 있었을 뿐만 아니라 일부 학교에서는 학생 선택권이 보장되지 않는 등의 사례가 확인되었다. 고등학교 수학과 교육과정 편성 실태 분석 결과는 2015 개정 교육과정을 토대로 하는 고교학점제의 안정적 안착을 위한 교육과정 편성에 대한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The high school credit system, which emphasizes the choice and diversity according to the student's career and aptitude, has a great task in connection with the university entrance system including CSAT(college scholastic ability test). Since CSAT system integrated in literary arts and natural sciences will be introduced for the first time in 2022 CSAT based on the 2015 revised curriculum, An analysis of the current state of curriculum organization at unit schools is required. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the current state of high school mathematics curriculum organization, focusing on the questions range of CSAT mathematics section, to examine how changes in CSAT system affect mathematics curriculum organization of unit schools, and to explore improvements and implications for mathematics curriculum organization. For this study, the current status of the two-year mathematics curriculum organization of 190 general high schools and 39 autonomous high schools belonging to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education were surveyed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the change in the questions range of CSAT mathematics section significantly affected the mathematics curriculum organization. And there was not only a large difference in student choice for elective subjects in CSAT mathematics section by unit school but also cases such as not being guaranteed student choice have been confirmed. The analysis of the actual condition of high school mathematics curriculum organization could provide implications for the curriculum organization for the stable settlement of the high school credit system based on the 2015 revised curriculum.
