2수준 단위를 내재화한 학생의 분수 스킴과 재귀 분할 조작의 구성

국문 초록

본 연구 목적은 학생의 재귀 분할이 분수 스킴 및 단위 조정 조작과 어떻게 관련되는지 탐구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학교 4학년 학생을 대상으로 4개월(2019.3.∼2019.6.) 동안 교수 실험을 진행하였고 본 논문은 학생의 재귀 분할과 관련된 스킴과 조작이 교수 실험 동안 어떻게 변화하였는지에 대해 상세히 분석하였다. 학생의 재귀 분할은 분수 스킴의 경험 상황, 분수 스킴의 가역성, 스플리팅 조작의 구성에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 스플리팅 조작은 단위 분수 합성 스킴을 구성하는 데 필수적이며 재귀 분할의 내재화는 ‘분수량의 분수량, 분수량, 전체’ 의 관계를 3수준 단위 구조로 내재화하는 것과 관련이 있었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 교수-학습상의 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore how recursive partitioning is related to fraction schemes and units-coordinating operations. For this purpose, a teaching experiment was conducted with one fourth grade student, Eunseo for four months(2019.3.~2019.6.). We provide analysis in details of how her fraction schemes and operations evolved in relation to her recursive partitioning during the teaching experiment. Activation of Eunseo’s recursive partitioning emerged differently depending on the experiential situations of her fraction scheme and whether she constructed reversibility of her fraction scheme with a splitting operation. Especially, construction of the splitting operation was essential to construct a unit fraction composition scheme. We also found that the interiorization of recursive partitioning was related to interiorizing the relation of ‘a fractional quantity of a fractional quantity, a fractional quantity, and the whole' into a three-levels-of-units structure. Based on the results of this study, conclusions and pedagogical implications are suggested.
