국문 초록

본 연구는 관광활동 과정에서 여러 가지 제약과 관광 불평등에 노출된 사회적 약자의비대칭적 성격의 사회문화 체계 극복을 위해 논의되었다. 특히 장애인과 임신부 및 영유아기 자녀를 둔 여성의 관광활동 인식에 대해 심층면접을 통한 질적연구를 진행하였다. 분석결과, 장애인과 임신부 및 영유아기 자녀를 둔 여성이 인식하는 관광활동을 어렵게만드는 사회문화 체계는 결핍, 불평등, 문화 범주로 나눌 수 있었고, 결핍 범주는 내재적·대인적·구조적 제약요인, 불평등 범주는 시·공간 자원, 문화 범주는 개인 참여와 집단소통의 주제군으로 각각 구성되었다. 그리고 이 두 집단에게 영향을 미치는 관광활동의제약을 유발하는 사회문화 체계의 극복을 위한 정책은 물질적 자원 가치와 비물질적 편익 가치의 정책적 지원 범주 내에서 전자는 소유·사용권리, 후자는 접근성·규범성에 근거한 편익을 지원하는 방향으로 운용되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 이제 관광약자의 생활문화적 권리를 확보하고, 인간으로서의 실존적 가치를 높여주는 공공적 관광자원개발 및 공공성 가치를 충족시키는 관광정책 구현에 사회구성원 모두가 관심을 가져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aims to help overcome the asymmetrical sociocultural system that causes various constraints and inequality to the socially underprivileged in tourism. In-depth interviews were conducted to explore the perception of the two groups; people with disabilities, and women who are pregnant and/or in charge of rearing children. The factors that hinder them from tourism were divided into three categories of deficiency, inequality, and culture, and each category was divided into its own theme clusters respectively. The category of Deficiency is into three theme clusters of intrinsic, personal, and structural constraints, inequality into two of time and space, and culture into two of personal engagement and group communication. The policy supports to overcome the above system are divided into two categories of material resources and immaterial benefits. The category of material resources is into two theme clusters of ownership and the use, and immaterial benefits into two conveniences and normativity. Now, all members of society should pay attention to securing the living and cultural rights of vulnerable tourists, developing public tourism resources that enhance existential value as human beings, and implementing tourism policies that satisfy public values.
