국문 초록

명청교체기의 변혁기를 거치고 청조가 안정기로 접어들 무렵, 공자의 64세손 공상임이 수재 복구를 위해 양주로 파견되어 지역민들을 위로하며 선정을 베풀었고 양주와 인근 지역에 집중적으로 거주했던 유민들을 다독이며 함께 홍교에서 수계를 열어 20여 년 전 같은 산동 출신의 왕사정이 창건했던 홍교수계의 전통을 계승하였다. 공상임의 홍교수계는 기획 단계부터 철저히 왕사정이 세운 전통을 계승한다는 명분을 내걸었고, 이는 왕사정이 양주인들에게 남긴 긍정적인 영향 때문에 큰 성공을 거둘 수 있었다. 당시는 이미 왕조와 사회의 안정, 경제의 번영으로 인해 과거 명청교체기의 상처가 상당히 희석된 시대였기 때문에, 공상임은 홍교수계를 통하여 봄을 맞아 치세의 풍요를 만끽하고자 하는 의도를 과감히 드러내고 있고, 나아가 홍교 인근의 방화촌을 새로운 수계지로 선정하여 수계문화를 확장하였고, 양주의 많은 명승을 돌며 문인들과 시사를 열어 양주풍류의 큰 자취를 남겼다. 공상임의 이러한 문화활동과 성취는 이후 건륭연간의 노견증에 의해 계승되었고, 이후 청말까지 홍교수계의 전통을 이어지며 양주문화의 최고 콘텐츠가 되었다.

영문 초록

Yangzhou, which suffered the harsh ordeal of the replacement period of Ming-Qing, will soon achieve social stability and economic prosperity with the quick support of the Qing Dynasty. In particular, the Qing Dynasty dispatched officials from the Han Chinese, such as Wang Shi-zhen and Kong Shangren, to comfort the public sentiment and ease their reluctance to control the ethnic Koreans. Kong Shangren gathered the intellectuals of Yangzhou to bring them from the dark to the sunny, and revived Yangzhou culture by carrying out active poetry with them. In particular, Kong Shangren succeeded the HongQiao Xiuxi pioneered by Wang Shizhen as it was and settled as the core of Yangzhou culture, thereby securing the initiative of Yangzhou City. Kong Shangren clearly expressed his intention to remove the historical scars of the past and enjoy the era of prosperity and abundance through HongQiao Xiuxi, and he himself captured the splendid world of the time in the poem. It can be said that Kong Shangren imitated Wang Shizhen, who pioneered the HongQiao Xiuxi, and further sought to establish the old and new system of Yangzhou's Xiuxi culture by pioneering the system to Banghuacun and linking it to the HongQiao Xiuxi.
