사회복지사의 노화불안이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 사회복지사의 노화불안과 삶의 만족도를 파악하고, 노화불안이삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 이를 위해 편의표집에 의한 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, 수집된 사회복지사 161명의 자료를 SPSS 27.0을사용해 분석하였다. 노화불안은 Lasher와 Faulkender(1993)의 노화불안 척도(Anxiety about Aging Scale: AAS)를, 삶의 만족도는 Diener, Emmons, Larsen과Griffin(1985)의 삶의 만족도 척도(Satisfaction With Life Scale: SWLS)로 측정하였다. 기타 몇 가지 인구사회학적 특성을 묻는 변인을 통제변인으로 반영하여 측정하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회복지사의 노화불안은 5점 척도에서 2.81점, 삶의 만족도는 7점 척도에서 4.40점으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다중회귀분석결과 사회복지사의 노화불안 수준이 낮을수록 삶의만족도는 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 회귀모형은 사회복지사의 삶의 만족도변량의 28.8%를 설명해 주었다. 기타 사회복지사의 주관적 경제상황이 좋을수록, 주관적 건강상황이 좋을수록 삶의 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 연구 결과에 근거해 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 사회복지사의 노화불안 감소 또는예방 등을 위한 정책 및 실천 방안 그리고 후속연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the level of aging anxiety and life satisfaction of social workers, and the effects of aging anxiety on life satisfaction of social workers. For this purpose, data were collected from 161 social workers selected by the convenience sampling method and surveyed using the structured questionnaire through an online survey. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 27.0 program. Research instruments were composed of Anxiety about Aging Scale(AAS), developed by Lasher and Faulkender(1993), Satisfaction With Life Scale(SWLS), developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen, and Griffin(1985), and several socio-demographic variables as control variables. The major findings of this analysis are as follows. First, the level of aging anxiety was 2.81 points on the 5 point scale and life satisfaction was 4.40 points on the 7 point scale. Second, multiple regression confirmed that aging anxiety had a negative influence on life satisfaction, accounting 28.8% of the variance of life satisfaction of social workers. In addition, the factors affecting life satisfaction of social workers were subjective economic status and subjective health status. Based on the above results, implications for policy, practice, and future research suggestions for decreasing and preventing aging anxiety to increase life satisfaction of social workers were further discussed.
