“茶”的别称研究

국문 초록

차（茶）의 명칭에 대해서는 육우의《茶经》에 나오는 다섯 개의 명칭인 ‘荼, 槚, 蔎, 茗, 荈’을 인용했다. 그 근원은 기본적으로 《茶经·七之事》에 인용된 각종 훈고학 문헌이다. 이것은 당대 이전에 ‘차’에 대한 많은 异名이 있었음을 보여준다. 이전의 연구자들은 보통 음운·문자·훈고 등의 전통적인 방법으로 이러한 异名의 유래를 고증했다. 그러나 이러한 异名들이 중국 서남지역의 여러 소수민족들의 언어라는 점에 주목하지 못했다. 당나라 중기 이후 중국의 차문화가 더욱 발전함에 따라 茶字의 사용빈도도 갈수록 높아졌다. 唐诗와 宋词의 흥성에 따라 역대 문인묵객들은 咏茶할 때 이전에 없었던 차의 别称과 雅称을 많이 창조하였다. 그리고 이러한 別称과 雅称의 연구성과는 修辞를 많이 따진 언어예술의 결과물이다. 그것들이 창조된 연대와 사용한 연대의 차이는 매우 크다. 하지만 어떤 것은 이미 사용하지 않기도 하고, 어떤 것은 시간의 침전을 거쳐 차의 대명사로 굳어진 것도 있다. 앞선 연구들에 의하면 ‘차’의 다섯 가지 주요 异名인 ‘荼, 槚, 蔎, 茗, 荈’은 중국 서남지역 여러 소수민족들의 언어에서 유래한 것으로 보인다. 중국 고대문헌과 诗词歌赋중 차의 别称과 雅称을 수집·정리한 결과, ‘차’의 二字别称은 35개, 三字别称은 26개, 四字别称은 8개로 조사되었다.

영문 초록

About the names of tea, the five names ‘tu, jia, she, ming, chuan’ in by Lu Yu have always been quoted, and their sources are basically all kinds of exegetical literature quoted in . This shows that before the Tang Dynasty, there were many different names for tea, and predecessors usually studied the origin of these different names by means of traditional methods such as phonology, characters and exegesis, but neglected to pay attention to the fact that these different names came from the native languages of various minorities in the southwest of China. After the Mid-Tang Dynasty, with the further development of Chinese tea culture, tea characters were used more and more frequently. The prosperity of Tang Shi and Song Ci also led the writers and calligraphers of all dynasties to create many obscure nicknames and epithets when speaking and chanting about tea. Moreover, the acquisition of these epithets and nicknames also payed more attention to rhetorical devices, which was the creative activity of language art. Although they were created and used in very different ages, some of them have long since ceased to be used, and some of them have been solidified into tea phrases with clear lexical meanings after time precipitation. Through research and analysis, the author thinks that ‘tea’ five major names the ‘tu, jia, she, ming, chuan’ comes from the southwest ethnic minority languages, and collect the ancient Chinese literature and poetry and the nickname of tea, dubbed came to the conclusion that the 35 two-word nicknames, 26 three-word nicknames and 4 four-word nicknames.
