민중 메시아론에서 농민의 위치

국문 초록

본 논문은 민중신학의 핵심이라고 할 수 있는 민중 메시아론을 중심으로 예수의 비유에 나타난 민중들의 은닉된 대본을 찾아내는 것이다. 방법론으로는 제임스 스콧의 『지배, 그리고 저항의 예술 - 은닉대본』에 나타난 민중들의 은닉대본, 사회학적 성서해석 방법과 탈식민주의 성서해석학이 동원되었다. 또한 본 논문은 예수 당시의 ‘오클로스’로 명명된 그 무리들이 누구였는지 구체적으로 찾아서 예수의 비유에 나타난 자신의 땅과 장소에서 토지를 빼앗기고 쫓겨난 소작농들과 부재지주와의 관계를 분석함으로 예수의 비유 속에 감추어진 민중 사건들의 1차적 청중들에게 다가가 보고자 하였다. 특별히 ‘씨 뿌리는 자의 비유’를 재해석함으로써 당시의 농민들이 민중이 될 수밖에 없었던 이유를 찾아보려고 하였다. 그리함으로 민중 메시아론에서의 농민이 점하고 있는 위치가 어디인가를 규명하고자 하였으며 이를 근거로 농민 메시아론의 새로운 주체의 가능성에 대해 타진해 보고자 하였다. 결론적으로 민중신학적 지평에 있어서 고통받고 있는 남반구 농민, 농업, 농촌의 입장에서 즉 아래로부터의 민중신학적 새로운 선교적 과제의 발굴의 중요성도 논의해 보고자 하였다. 현재적으로 발생하는 대부분의 민중 사건들의 뿌리는 농촌과 농민, 농업의 영역에서 시작되었다고 필자는 판단한다. 그리고 민중을 구원할 수 있는 메시아론 적인 가능성은 ‘생명성’에 있음을 강조하려 하였고, 그 ‘생명성’의 모체라고 할 수 있는 농촌과 농촌 공동체, 그리고 농민이야말로 메시아적 가능성이 가장 많이 남아 있는 영역임을 밝힘으로써 민중 메시아론를 새롭게 재조명해 보고자 했다.

영문 초록

This thesis is to find the hidden script of the people in the parables of Jesus, centering on the Min Jung messianism, which can be said to be the core of Min Jung theology. As a methodology, the hidden script of Min Jung in James Scott’s 『The Art of Domination and Resistance-Concealment Script』 sociological method of interpreting the Bible, and post-colonial biblical hermeneutics were mobilized. In addition, this thesis seeks to find out who the group named ‘Oclos’ at the time of Jesus was in detail and analyzes the relationship between the peasants and absentee were in Jesus’ parables. I tried to approach the primary audience of Min Jung’s events hidden in the metaphor. In particular, by reinterpreting the ‘parable of the sower’, I tried to find the reason why peasants at the time had no choice but to become Min Jung. In doing so, I tried to identify the position occupied by the peasants in the Min Jung messianism, and based on this, I tried to examine the possibility of a new subject of the peasant messianism. In conclusion, I tried to discuss the importance of discovering new missionary tasks in Min Jung theology from the perspective of peasants, agriculture, and rural areas in the global south who are suffering in the Min Jung theological horizon. I believe that the roots of most of the Min Jung events that occur today begin in rural areas, with peasants, and with agriculture. In addition, I tried to emphasize that the Messianic potentiality to save Min Jung lies in ‘life,’ and the rurality, the rural community, and the farmers, which can be said to be the mother of that ‘life.’ These are the spheres where the Messianic potentiality is most evident. By revealing that I tried to shed new light on Min Jung Messianism.
