중·고등학생의 사회·정서적 역량 측정을 위한 설문 도구 개발 및 타당화

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 최근 학교교육을 통해 인지적 성취와 함께 사회·정서적 역량을 길러내야 한다는 요구를 반영하여 중·고등학생을 위한 사회·정서적 역량을 개념화하고 사회·정서적 역량 측정 도구를 개발하고자 하였다. 다양한 문헌을 토대로 사회·정서적 역량 구인으로 3개의 사회적 역량 구인(공동체 의식, 협업, 갈등해결)과 2개의 정서적 역량 구인(스트레스 대처, 회복탄력성)을 선정하였으며, 이를 측정하기 위해 중·고등학교의 학교교육 맥락을 고려한 시나리오 기반 자기보고식 문항을 개발하였다. 개발된 문항을 토대로 설문 조사를 하고 문항 양호도를 검증하여 사회적 역량 21문항, 정서적 역량 문항 15문항 등 총 36문항의 시나리오 기반 자기보고식 척도 문항을 확정하였다. 후속 연구로 본 연구에서 개발한 사회·정서적 역량 설문 도구를 토대로 학생 성장의 종합적인 결과 정보를 제공하는 연구와 국가수준의 사회·정서적 역량 지표 산출을 위한 연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we wanted to conceptualize social and emotional competencies for secondary school students and develop tools for measuring social and emotional competencies. This reflects the need to develop social and emotional competencies along with cognitive achievement. Based on the various literature, three social competency constructs (community consciousness, collaboration, conflict resolution) and two emotional competency constructs (stress coping, resilience) were selected as social and emotional competency constructs, and scenario-based self-reporting questions were developed. Based on the developed items, the questionnaire was conducted to the middle and high school students and the goodness of the items was verified. A total of 36 items, including 21 items of social competence and 15 items of emotional competence, were confirmed as the final scenario-based self-reporting scale items. Based on the results of the study, the limitations of the study were put forward and a follow-up study was proposed. For the further study, the national level Social-Emotional index has to be developed to measure the students’ grouwth as a whole.
