국문 초록

연구의 목적은 지역아동센터 이용아동 대상으로 심리사회역량 강화를 위한 집단상담프로그램의 효과성 검증을 하고자 계획되었다. 이를 위해 심리사회역량에 관한 문헌을 고찰하고 심리사회역량의 구성요소를 토대로 집단상담프로그램을 실시하였다. 고안된 집단상담프로그램의 효과성을 검증하고자 본 연구의 취지에 동의하는 1개 지역아동센터를 선정하고 본 센터를 이용하는 아동 중에서 참여의사를 보인 24명을 선발하여 무작위로 실험집단 12명, 비교집단 12명으로 구성하였다. 본 집단상담프로그램의 효과성은 비동일집단 사전-사후 검증 방식을 활용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비교집단에서는 심리사회역량의 변화가 통계적으로 유의하지 않은데 반해 실험집단에서는 심리사회역량에 긍정적 변화가 확인되어 심리사회역량 집단상담프로그램의 효과성이 검증되었다. 둘째, 심리사회역량의 하위요인별로 나타난 결과를 살펴보면 공감, 감정조절, 갈등해결, 자아존중감 영역에서 유의한 효과가 있었다. 이에 반해 의사소통 영역은 효과성이 입증되지 않았다. 셋째, 집단상담프로그램 초기과정에서 아동들은 자신의 주장만 내세우고 어울리지 못하는 모습을 보였지만 점차 타인의 표현에 공감하고 집단참여 수준이 향상됨이 발견되었다. 끝으로 본 연구결과를 기초하여 지역아동센터에서 집단상담프로그램을 발전시킬 수 있는 몇 가지 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was designed to verify the effectiveness of group counseling program to strengthen psychosocial competencies for children of regional child centers. To this end, the literature on psychosocial competency was reviewed and group counseling program was conducted based on the components of psychosocial competency. In order to verify the effectiveness of the designed group counseling program, one regional children's center that agrees with the purpose of this study was selected, and among the children using the center, 24 people who showed a willingness to participate were randomly selected from 12 experimental groups and 12 comparative groups. The effectiveness of this group counseling program was based on a non-identical group pre-post verification method. The research results are as follows. First, while the change in psychosocial competence was not statistically significant in the comparative group, the positive change in the psychosocial competency was confirmed in the experimental group, and the effectiveness of the psychosocial competency group counseling program was verified. Second, looking at the results of each sub-factor of psychosocial competence, there were significant effects in the areas of empathy, emotion regulation, conflict resolution, and self-esteem. In contrast, the effectiveness of the communication area has not been proven. Third, in the early stages of group counseling program, the children showed only their own claims and did not match, but it was found that they gradually sympathized with the expression of others and improved the level of group participation. Finally, based on the results of this study, several ways to develop group counseling program in regional child centers were presented.
